M Sterling: Who knew there were SO many kinds of knots? I got this book for my son as an alternative to screen time. The illustrations in this book are great - very clear to figure out. I especially like the notes about each knot and their practical usage. Highly recommend!

I heart cats: It's easy to search online when you want to know how to tie a knot. I on the other hand wanted something I would be able to easily pull and reference since I don't use special knots very often. I'm brand new to knot tying, so I needed something super easy to follow. I had a few knots in mind that I needed to learn and this book had them covered in detail with pictures of each step. I especially liked the explanations about when to use the type of knot. It also lists the benefits and in some cases limitations of the knot. I'm going to try the author's "5 Decorative Knots" book next.

Eric Madeen: This is a well-written and organized book with photographs and illustrations showing the order of how one should tie each knot, which number some 65. I can see that the author put a ton of work into this book, making the tying of each knot blackboard clear. To spice things up, I would have liked to have seen some ... kinkier knots as in S&M/bondage tee-hee ... It's a niche book and does its job there and could find a market in the Boy Scouts, etc.
