There are so many fun pages and ideas in it. The paint colors are perfect for her, pretty and girly and the projects are too. There are some perforated tear-out postcards so they can share their favorite designs. This is a great gift. Our grand daughter can't wait to get going on it and loves even just looking through it.

BMJD: I love this book! For those commenting that there are not enough pages, I actually will not allow her to use the pages in the book. I have my daughter use scrap paper, construction paper, drawing pads, etc. the ink should last long enough to get several uses out of it. The little gems may need to be replaced (and eventually the ink and pen as well). She’ll have this book forever... or for however long she wants to keep it! The examples are cute and easy to follow. It is a fun rainy day activity!

DeeAnn Weiss: This book is full of ideas of how to draw pictures, just from your fingerprints. It is on the "girly" side with it's pink colors, but I do believe boys who like to draw would have fun with it too! Always have a rag ready to wipe off your hands, but one the fingerprint (s) are made, the drawing begins. A delightful book for those who like art and fun!

melikee: I'm definitely a little on the a.d.d side when it comes to playing with my kids, this item is soooo much fun though, I find myself doing it on my own without my kids, kids really enjoy creating with this book and it's just great that the ink is included. If I could change one thing it would be changing the stampers to inkless for less of a potential mess but if you are prepared with a wipe, it shouldn't get too messy. My two year old loves to make thumbprints and this actually gets her attention.
