I bought this blender back in July to replace one that broke quite a while ago. I received the product in a timely manner.

What I like about it:

1. It's a pretty strong little immersion blender. I've used it many times and am pleased with how it works. I've not tried it with ice but I have blended frozen fruit for a smoothie and it worked really well. Last night I used it to mix organic peanut butter with the oil on top and I almost thought I broke it as it stopped working lol. But I just had to clean out the blade area and it worked fine after that. It can be tough mixing that type of peanut butter so it gave me a chance to check out how it would do.

2. I like that I can take this hand blender apart to store it and that the bottom half is made of metal.

3. I like that it came with a container with a to lid make my smoothie in. It's not a strong plastic container so I'm not sure how long it will last.

What I'm not so keen on:

1. I don't care for the fact that you have to hold the button in to keep the blender on as you blend with it. It's a bit uncomfortable and tiring. Someone with arthritis might find it difficult....

Amazon customer: Top quality kind of pricey but worth every penny it's got some weight to it what I like about it it's got a stainless steel stem so you don't have to worry about sticking it in hot stuff I'm very very satisfied with it

Jane: Loved the color, works really well, use it every day, I'm on our third one because the plastic breaks along the rim where it connects to the motor.

Eileen Pace: It was easy to unbox and put this together to use the first time, but it took me a few tries to figure out how to make the wand snap into place on the handle. It fell off into my soup a couple of times but that was a minor inconvenience.
This product description doesn't offer the holder that sits on the edge of the pot to make it easy to stand the blender up while you do other things. But the instructions described it as part of the package, so now I'm feeling FOMO. Not a big deal I guess.
The instructions also don't say if you can toss the blender wand into the dishwasher, so I'm hand washing it for now.

Zach Samons: Not the strongest blender on the market, but it does the job eventually. If you like making soups, you need one of these in your cabinet.

Rezwan AzadRezwan Azad: I thought of removing my previous review ( see below) but on second thought, it will serve the purpose to others if I let it be there. Please know that it was my ignorance that wrote the previous review and gave one star otherwise the product is good. I didn't lock the gadget aligning with the marks ( see the last photo. The first 3 photos I attached with the previous review). So, if you don't turn and lock it properly in its place, of course the gadget won't work. Error was mine not Kitchen Aid. I apologies. However, locking it in place requires a bit of struggle. That's a tiny flaw and I can live with it as it blends good.

<I just got it. It doesn't lock in place properly, comes off easily. Looks like the grooves to hold are not firm enough to hold in places. I always trusted Braun products but the hype in popularity of Kitchen Aid products made me at least try the handheld gadget. And this is what I got. Haha. I'll be returning it.>

James Dunk: This hand held blender is a bit heavier than most, but I love the power and easy grip handle. The bottom comes off for easy cleaning. I Preferred the shape of the blender (bell) bottom better on this particular one than the new ones with the strange shaped bottom (looks harder to clean in all the bends). A plus is that it matches my kitchen aid mixer, but the color wasn't really important to me as much as the performance, and so far its Great!! My last blender (heritage), the seal wasnt tight and the food would go up the rod and sit in the top. It was kinda gross as the bacteria build up would be really bad. The seal on the kitchen aid is really tight and so far no back up when blending. I would definitely recommend this product.

Mack.: I have been wanting this for more than a year now but kept telling myself I didn't need it.
I finally bit the bullet and purchased myself one for my birthday - I'm so glad I did!
It has great power, mixes quickly and the best part is, its pretty quiet. I love that it comes with a plastic container, makes mixing smoothies an absolute breeze and definitely beats having to clean our big blender each time. I can't wait to use this for soups, baking, etc. If I HAD to pick one negative, it's that you have to hold the button down the entire time you're mixing which is slightly annoying but not the end of the world.

SC: Very useful to blend small amount of ingredients. I use it to mash dips and spreads without using none-to-very-little liquid, which is impossible in a regular blender. I even mash potatoes with less effort than using a masher or ricer. Motor is powerful enough to blend smoothly. By using slowest speed and pulses while moving it up-down and stirring twice, I even "shredded" cilantro and mint - worked perfectly! My pet peeve is that the operating button is push button switch. It takes fair amount of pressure to hold the button down to keep it running. This makes it difficult to use, my finger hurts every time. I really, really wish both options were available - push-button for pulsing and a locking mechanism to keep it in on position.
