Jules: Not exposed to heat these are great. But, if left in the Sun.... they CRYSTALIZED. Not soft. Make sure you buy these straight from the store not from Amazon.....

E. Cardinal: These dried cherries are very plump, very tasty, with a hint of their natural tartness evident, but really only a hint because as tart cherries go, these are pretty sweet. Actually a little too sweet for my taste buds.
This is literally a matter of taste, and there will be many who will find their level of sweetness to be just right.
According to the nutrition facts on the package, a serving size is defined as 1/3 cup (40 g), and each serving contains 30 g of sugar which seems like a lot - of which 13 g are added sugars. For those wanting to limit their sugar intake, that may be a red flag.
I rated the product with 5 stars in spite of my comments about sugar and sweetness. They are very flavorful, fresh-tasting cherries; dried of course, but not hard as pea gravel and they're flavorful.
But I personally will shop more carefully the next time I want to purchase tart cherries, for ones without added sugars.
