Jerry Neuman: This is my second small printer that I have bought, and I am impressed with the quality of the print, how quite it is, and very easy to navigate.

bob1274bob1274: My first review got rejected because I linked to thingiverse for thing 4800129. It's a spool holder upgrade that is my favorite and in my opinion necessary for the this printer to function to it's best performance. The side roller "feet" style spool holder that come with the KP3S are not very good and are a cost saving after thought. Print something better. The included filament holder will get you going until you print something better. AS for the printer itself it is very simple and easy to use. It does not have autobed leveling and you don't need it. ABL, in my opinion, does not work in these styles of printers because it's an add on and not integrated to the actual system. Printers that were designed to use an ABL from the ground up fair much better. That being said it is really easy to level. Bring the nozzle down until it touches the bed and then back off half a turn. No shims are paper required.

The linear rails are very nice and will last much longer than POM wheel designed system. POM wheels are used on the Z axis but I don't see that as being a problem because Z moves the lease of any surface in a system like this.

The "Titan" extruder appears to be an E3D...

Ali-BAli-B: I've been running this printer for a few months now and for the money it's amazing! That's not to say it's perfect and doesn't need anything more doing to it after initial setup so here's what I've found needs doing.

Firstly, while it is possible to have the printer assembled in about 15 minutes and printing demo prints from the included (16GB blacked out kioxia in my case) uSD card, this is what you'll probably find if you do:
The Z-Axis beam might be a smidge off square if you just slap it on and tighten everything up. check it with a square and adjust if necessary (I had to place a piece of folded up tinfoil under one side of the base of the beam to slightly ofset it back to square) otherwise you'll end up with prints that lean by 1/2 a degree. this may not be important to you if you're only doing decorative prints.
Secondly the Z-Axis threaded rod coupler is terrible and ideally needs replacing with one that fits tightly but in the mean time it will allow the Z-Axis thread to wobble and this will in turn show up as banding on the sides of your print as it pushes the whole Z assembly around as it rotates.
Again, this can be minimized by adjusting the threaded...

ConBandit: Wow. Where do I start? I can go on and on about how much I love this thing, but no one reads ramble. So bullet points

1 - easy to set up
2 - easy to learn
3 - quality, this thing is built like a tank
4 - cheap
5 - quality prints
6 - simple guide
7 - magnet mat for easy removal

Need I say more?

I DO!!! Here's the IN DEPTH review, saved for the truly worth products.

This box was packed with the care you bestow upon your young. I was not weary about shipping damage. The guide was a bit confusing in that Chinese to English sort of way (you know what I mean). But fear not, 6 screws and a bit of fumbling later, and ta da. You have yourself a 3d printer ready to go. The bed is a bit of a pain to level, and the middle of the bed doesn't catch paper SUPER WELL, but WHATEVER it's a 160 3D printer!! The touch screen..... Muah muah muah..... Chief's kiss! Amazing. Very responsive, and sleek. No issues with the nozzle or feeder. It heats up really fast, and switching out filaments is a snap.

I've tried AnyCube (more like ANYTHING but Cube), and yuck. 300 smackers and much wailing later, I returned it. Just a terrible machine. This one. My...

MR C.MR C.: I brought this as a stop gap printer while I'm in the process of moving, I had to put my Prusa MK3s into storage so I wasn't expecting it to live up to that at this price point, but I was blown away!

Let's get the bad points out the way because there's not many.
-It's very noisy, the stock fans are crazy loud (roughly 69dB at 6" away), I've since replaced these with some cheap 40mm 24v fans and a custom printed adapter (printed on the Kingroon) and its very quiet now (56dB) I can easily take work calls with it running next to me and its even quieter then my PC fans.
-This is a minor complaint but prints stick bit too well to the included build platform, which is better than not sticking at all I suppose! Anyway I've put a glass bed on it now so not really an issue for me and shouldn't deter you from buying.
That's it, an extra £20-30 spent, an evening putting it right and it's an absolute beast of a machine now.

Onto the Good Stuff.
Things that surprised me at this price point:
-Linear Rails - this is rare for cheaper printers I've seen and they make it so much more solid, not to mention reduced noise when printing (once the fans are fixed).
-Touch...

Amazon Customer: This 3D printer is extremely well made and solid. Everything that counts is metal and it is really heavy for its size - in a good way. The base feels like cast metal and really locks the thing down while it prints fast. The linear rails are smooth and are on the axes that move fast - ideal. The standard roller bearings are on the vertical axis that barely moves whilst printing so just add rigidity. The direct drive extruder is solidly all metal. The servo's are pretty quiet with the only noise coming from the fans and the parts that actually move. The dual fan setup works well. The heated bed proved essential as I use the printer in quite a cold environment. The quality magnetic flexible removeable build area it what all 3D printers should have. The seperate power supply is metal with a fan, a switch and standard PC power cable. The rating is beyond what the printer demands so never seems overstretched.

The screen is small but most settings are done in the supplied software - which is a version of some quality slicing software that is dedicated to the particular model of printer. That's no bad thing as the settings are already dialed in for the machine. The screens user...

Julius KerekesJulius Kerekes: The KP5L Pro so far is looking to be an exceptional printer for the money. No longer JUST an entry level printer, it truly is a printer for more advanced use. I have had almost every model printer that Kingroon has produced and I have to say this printer surprised me.

The printer assembled very easily…. Just 4 bolts to hold the Z/X gantry to the base and clip the zip ties holding the belts in place so they don’t move during shipping. Packaging is very good… printer was snugly packed in several layers of foam and the Z Gantry was bolted to the base using existing holes in the dual axis guide rails, to give a very secure hold in shipping and eliminate shifting and vibrating screws loose. I found no loose parts in the box. The glass bed surface was shrink wrapped to a large block of Styrofoam to protect it. There is a decent color manual that is quite understandable.

The printer ships with the standard compliment of hex keys as well as the obligatory flush cutters and an SD Card and reader. It also comes with a decent amount of sample filament, mine was pearl white and a spare nozzle and some nozzle cleaning needles.

Instead of the typical 20x20 or 20x40...
