Kindle Customer: Okay, so I'm an adult and my grandchildren introduced me to Kinetic sand. It is the best ever! This product feels like beach sand, which is kinda cool and the molds are fun for the kids to play with. However, I sit at the table and kneed the sand the entire time they are playing with it. if I'm having a really bad day, I can REALLY KNEED it, I can name it BOB! I love to feel it slip through my fingers and it costs me less than a therapy session!!! The greatest part is, I get to spend time with my grandkids and they don't know if I'm having a good or bad day! Everyone should KNEED it!! ;)

Comes with lots of tools and castles to make sandcastles. Just fab!

Sonia: Bought this for my daughters 3rd birthday. She can spends hours making sand castles, destroying them and making them again. It is an easy set and easy clean up. Does not dry out. Great all around product for a busy toddler

Jackie: Think some people look at the "Sand castle" on the front of the box and think there is allot of sand included. There is about 3 1/2 cups, box states 3 pounds which is what you get, however the picture of the castle on the box must have at least 2 1/2 times that much, so if the box showed a castle made with the amount of sand in the box then people wouldn't complain as much. Anyhow I did the math before I bought so I had an idea how many cups 3 pounds were. Its enough to have a fun play time with all the castle molds. Love the sand because it DOES NOT stick. The sand also comes out of the molds quite well. Also the sand is interesting to look at when you move it in your hands. Will def buy Kinetic sand again and will stick with this brand. Make sure you keep it in a airtight bag to preserve its freshness. Love it. Going to get more colors too.

Sarabeth: This set is so cute! My son had been asking for his own kinetic sand so we finally caved despite dreading the mess. The mess actually hasn’t been bad at all!! I set up a tray with the sand and some shells and the pieces this set comes with and he played with it all for HOURS the first day!! He kept going back to the tray throughout the day! He was so entertained and excited about it. It’s even fun and relaxing for me to sit and play some with the sand with him. He really loves it! He has since requested sand everyday since we got it and he hasn’t been bored yet. It’s not messy and I love that it doesn’t really stick to your hands. It’s a really fun texture! This would make a great gift!

Busy Mum: 2.5 stars. We have had this stuff for two months now, and we left it in it’s original box, maybe this is where we went wrong. Now however the kinetic sand has become sticky (and I don’t just mean to itself) its everywhereeeeeee. My living room floor feels like someone didn’t take a shower after a long walk on the beach… the worst feeling ever. This could be our error of course for keeping it in the box but either way it’s pretty gross and I wouldn’t buy it again.

WBW II: Same amount & same brand of sand was under $10 at Walmart. The cardboard box and little plastic forms and shovels etc. ,do add to the presentation and let the kids get into it immediately. Still in the original box. Pretty heavy duty cardboard . If I had it to do over again I would buy the $10 bag and a decent quality small tote with a lid, put the bag in the tote with a few seashells , bottle caps or whatever would make a cool shape. That’s just me though. It isn’t oily & doesn’t cause stains( speaking of which, there’s a special place in hell for whoever came up with slime. Just kidding the kids love it. I don’t know about other parents but I’ve always since day one planned on replacing your carpet and anything upolstured As soon as The bulk of vomiting, coloring with markers and crayons, etc. etc. is over. kids will be kids. )or any problems like some I’ve seen and it is easy to clean up Of course a little bit gets spilled each time it gets played with. Vacuum. Not a problem.
