KIND Bars: Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew with Antioxidant Power

C. J. Shuffield: I ran across these bars in my search for gluten-free fiber bars. They are not loaded with fiber, but wow! are they tasty.
I love salted caramel and these are yummy. Unbelievably moist, wonderful texture and soft and chewy.
I've ordered multiple times and will continue to. They are a bit pricey so I have to pace myself.

Duran Flux: I'm pre-diabetic and honestly, I don't know what to eat anymore. I'd run out of night-time snacks, and just needed something that wasn't packed with sugar. So I bought a box of these hoping for the best. I'd never tried them before, I only knew the brand, which I'd had good experiences with in the past. However, when I roll the dice with products I haven't tried before, the results are usually, at best... meh. But surprisingly, these bars are now my new favorite thing. I got the peanut butter bars and they have a perfectly balanced slightly salty, peanut butter flavor. They're not too small, nor too big. And best of all, they're not packed with sugar! They are slightly tough to bite into, but the taste more than makes up for this. Overall, I couldn't be happier. I'll be ordering at least one box per month as long as they're available!

AutumnRose: I LOVE cashews, so when i bought these and bit into my first bar...all i tasted was peanuts. boo. SO DISAPPOINTED! I had hoped it was just that one bar, but i've had three now and I have yet to TASTE or SEE any cashews in these bars. I won't be buying them again. Its a misrepresentation to put Cashew in bold letters on the package, bc if there are any in there, the taste is obliterated by peanuts. The rest of the bar tastes great...I just wish they were honest about the taste. I will go back to making my own "granola" with dark cherries, dark chocolate chips, real cashews and tossing in some Annie's cocoa and vanilla bunnies. Its not a handy bar to stash in your purse, but at least i can taste the cashews. =/

Jessica Schmid: Ich war am Anfang etwas skeptisch, wie denn der Geschmack genau sein könnte... Man liest nur "Dunkle Schokolade, Nüsse und Salz" - kann das schmecken?
Daraufhin dachte ich, ok, das wird jetzt probiert, weil um ehrlich zu sein einige Stars und Sternchen diese Kind Bars "bewerben". So schlecht kann es also nicht sein.
Die Lieferung ging relativ zügig und die Verpackung war wunderbar.
Die Riegel habe ich mir doch etwas "voller"/"größer" vorgestellt (daher ein Stern abzug), aber der Geschmack ist einfach wunderbar.
Das macht Lust darauf, auch die anderen Riegel zu probieren. Vorallem für zwischendurch, wenn man Zeit zu einer vollwertigen Mahlzeit überbrücken muss, sättigt der Riegel doch zufriedenstellend.

Chris Hoare: The Kind Plus Dark Chocolate and Cherry ... bars have a long name are my fourth flavour test. After last months Caramel and Almond bar which was far two almondy (and made me worry for my teeth) for me. Kind bars are all nice; and unlike most other cereal bars are have visible rather than homogenised ingredients.

There are a wide variety of Kind bars to cover a number of dietary scenarios - the caramel and almonds were about protein and fibre. The dark chocolate and cherry variety are about vitamins; which surprisingly are added ingredients (going a bit against the motto of ingredients you can see and pronounce), to supplement the nutrition from the fruit and nuts. The taste is sweet; and that is reflected in the sugar: protein ballance.

The Dark Chocolate and cherry bars are a bit too sweet a cereal bar for my tastes. Cranberry overwhelms the flavour (as they always do.) Of the four I have tried so far the apple and cinnamon bars remain my personal favourites and will be the ones i get next.

Chris Hoare: Kind Bar's are a staple in my office drawer since finding them last year. I am rotating round flavors to decide which i like the most. The Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt Bar's main attraction is the high nut content. This leads 7g of fiber and 6g of protein in a 40g bar; and a lowish 5g of sugars. The bars are clearly almondy with a dark chocolate base. They are as a result of the nuts the texture is very crunchy (it may test your teeth crunch.) The taste is far more savory than a sweeter bar like apple and cinnamon bars which at 10g have twice the sugar. The nuts and the slight bitterness of the chocolate are nice; and the effect of the smaller seeds give a variety of taste and texture in the mouth as you chew. The salt is really though and if you dislike the taste of salt these may not be for you.
