Kikkoman Thai-Inspired Chili Sauce, 9 oz Jar

Peggy Hardaway: I bought this as a replacement for the Sambal Oelek I have used for years and found it inferior to Sambal Oelek in flavor. It was pretty much mostly liquid with no solid chopped chili peppers/seeds in it like the Sambal product. Flavor is acceptable, but it's noticeably sweet (Sambal Oelek is not sweet at all). I can use this product in some recipes, where that sweetness is acceptable, but I will not want to use it in all Asian culinary applications.

Sandy: Gotten this several times. Received the bottle in good shape, sealed, and ready to go! I use it for chicken, stir fry’s, or just spicing up a pot of something or on fish or pork. It’s good on anything. Sweet with a little kick but not too much. I love it! I’ll get it again when I run out too!

Esther S.: I use a LOT of this but my favorite use is in the sauce for Bang Bang Shrimp. It doesn't overpower the delicate shrimp and adds just the right amount of "tang" to the sauce. I can't always find it in my supermarkets so I buy this product frequently from Amazon. It comes well-packaged and I've never had accidental breakage.

Yolanda: I don’t believe it’s of bad quality, my taste buds were just expecting the sauce i get on the side when I buy Thai food which I love - not this one one though as I was not expecting it to be sweet🤔
