William: I bought the shotgun pro bike seat as well, and would not even consider using the seat without the handle bars. They are an essential bit of kit that in my opinion should be sold and used exclusively with the seat.

TN Colby: I wasn't sure about this at first. I also bought the additional child handle bar to go with this. It seems a lot riskier than one of those that resemble a child seat strapped behind the adult. At first you have to go slow, keep your knees/legs close to the child and a hand at the ready. Once they realize what to do (holding on) they love it. The quality of materials and craftsmanship is the best. It even came with the necessary tools to put it together. I spent more on this seat and child handlebars than I did on the bike. My child is two and normal size.
