tastebbins: Fun guitar with lots of sound options. The only draw back is that the strap will not stay hooked into the guitar, which is kind of a big deal for my 3 year old.

Ugochi Babajide: This is a very good quality guitar - Strong and sturdy! It’s not cheap plastic. It’s strong and thick. I bought it for my 5 year old son. It came well packaged in a rectangular box - ready for me to wrap it for Christmas - so I didn’t need to get a separate box for wrapping. I love that it has a variety of sounds and that MOST importantly, it has an on and and off button. Yes Parents! We need that button, don’t we? I didn’t even know that this guitar was one that the famous Ryan review kid used in one of his episodes; it was my daughter who told me! See pictures attached.

ShoppingForThePerfect....: I went into this purchase prepared to be disappointed. With it being only $15, I figured it would likely be almost disposable.
I was SO wrong. First off, it's made out of hard plastic. It won't survive really rough treatment, but it's heavy duty enough that it can take normal toddler abuse.
Also, it has a surprising amount of great features! When in the first mode, each blue button has a different guitar riff. There were funk riffs, straight out Rock riffs, a very rockin' collection, and certain ones mesh together really well.
The second mode is notes that follow the scale, they don't sound much like a strum (that would be pretty tough to accomplish), more like a kids electronic keyboard.
The strum switch- I love this, it has a strum sound when you flip it. The whammy bar wails when you push it down. There are two drum beats, a 3 and a 4 note beat.
Did I mention the flashing lights along the neck? Lol. Fun!
It's got, I think four volumes, none are very loud which is probably a good thing. The loudest, they could do a concert in a quiet living room and be heard.
It takes 3AA batteries, one Philips screw to access the panel on back....

G. W.: 2 year old loves this as much for the built-in beats as for the rift buttons. Really a great value and fun musical toy.
