Big E: I bought 2 of these fobs for my E450 super duty for my motorhome. I followed the simple instructions and they both worked great. I did learn that, if your going to program two of them, program both while your in program mode. Otherwise if you do one at a time and have the one you already programmed with you, once you go into the program mode again you will loose the programming in the first one and have to reprogram it again.

Lolasmommy: I had purchased a different brand of this exact item, and when it came, there was no “guts” so although it gave you all kinds of things that it was compatible with, it was not ready or programmable without the innards - this unit came 100% ready to roll. It took me less than a minute to pair it with the existing key fob. There’s nothing I hate worse than purchasing something and not getting the right thing. It’s a waste of time and money. This item is not a waste of anything - I highly recommend it.
