Ketofa's R134A Car AC Refrigerant Charge Hose Kit is the perfect air conditioning line repair tool for your car. This kit comes with a recharge hose with gauge, A/C 1/2 recharge measuring kit, and a can tap air conditioning pressure gauge. It's designed with a built-in safety valve that prevents accidental venting of refrigerant. The low side pressure check ensures accurate filling of the air conditioner, and the connector to the Freon gas tank is adjustable for convenient operation. With its high-quality build, compatibility, customer support, and design, this kit is the best choice for all your air conditioning needs.Robert-S: Item is ok (works) HOWEVER this is not compatible with the newer resealable cans. Only the one time puncture cans.

geschaef: Zagpoint's instruction is correct but will benefit from one additional item. After closing the twist valve completely to pierce the can's seal, back off the valve a few turns to release the freon (while engine is running). Continue turning the valve until you feel the can and/or the hose turning cold. Thanks Zagpoint.

Zagpoint: I used it with a 12oz self-sealing can. You do NOT need any additional adapter. It was very simple:
- turn on the car's AC to a cool setting
- connect one end of the hose to the can,
- connect the other end to the low pressure line of the car's AC,
- check the pressure gauge to make sure your AC is low on freon. If it is high, you probably don't need to refill. If it is way high, your AC compressor probably is not engaged.
- twist the can end of the valve IN so that it pushes the can's sealing pin in to release freon. For this step, I feel I could use some instruction but this tools comes with no instruction unfortunately. But this is what worked for me.
- shake the can slowly, and turn the can sideway every few seconds. This will help release the refrigerant quicker. Look for two indicators that your procedure is working: the hose will start feel freezing cold, and the dial on the gauge will slowly go up.
- When the can gets lighter and hose turns warmer, you are likely done.

Rico in the CCRico in the CC: This hose is exactly what I needed to recharge the refrigerant on my old Honda Civic. After watching a couple of YouTube videos, it was really easy to bring the A/C system back to life. I live in a very HOT city and the A/C just wasn't able to cool the car anymore. After recharging the A/C with this hose and refrigerant. It's nice and chilly inside the car again!
