S. CaseyS. Casey: I bought one of these about a year ago and it has been doing great. It is easy to remove and clean the small trap and then put back into place. So, I just bought another one and installed it in the other bathroom sink. Easy to install and maintain.
It is highly recommended to thoroughly clean the the drain area and the overflow pathway before you install the replacement drain.

DavidS: Installed with just a pipe wrench and didn't require any plumber's putty or pipe tape. No leaks and feels solid. Better than the Kohler popup stopper I bought from Home Depot which required some adjustment to get it to stop 100%. I like that you can easily remove the stopper and clean the catch basket.

Teejay65: Our old-style lift rod assembly made it difficult to clean out when hair and other debris would slow the draining of the sink. Plus, the cheap design made it harder to get the proper amount of lift of the plug overtime.

This plug operates as described. Simple to clean out the "hair trap" and great seal when filling the bowl. Installation took less than 20 minutes. The polished finish matches well with the rest of the faucet. I would highly recommend this product.

dblanchette: Bought a new Moen faucet, which I'm happy with, but it came with a cheap plastic drain that wasn't even threaded high enough to reach the bottom of the sink. Tried to McGiver it, but no go; still leaked badly. Researched a replacement and KES was rated highly, and though this was at the bottom of the KES line at $15 with a relatively low number of Amazon reviews, it didn't look all that different from others in the line. Installed easily with no gasket leaks at either end. I did have some concern that the small pop up cap that inserted into the collar of the drain might leak, but it looks to have the same type of seal as the larger type caps. If you don't like the size of larger "exterior" caps (typically 2 1/2"+, or you have a smallish sink basin, this is a nice alternative and looks and works fine. I also like that this a single solid piece of alloyed steel, as so many have thinner tails or are coated. I really like the large brass nut, as plastic nuts with the "fin" extensions for turning facilitate hand tightening but not wrench tightening, as often hand tightening isn't enough.
