The torsion bar broke in my older one after 5 years of everyday carry rough abuse, so when I decided I wanted a knew one, of course i went with Kershaw, my old Kershaw is a Neptune Steel body so when I got my New Leek Kershaw it was a good bit lighter with the Aluminum body. The only thing I dont like about the Leek is the blade lock. But that's not an issue any longer. 😉 But all an all I'm every happy with the Leek. I do wish Kershaw would hurry with the replacement parts for my Neptune

Timothy: For years I loved my Kershaw Chive but I didn't buy a Kershaw Leek because I didn't like the shape of the Leeks in pictures. But after I was able to buy this deep blue Kershaw leek for super cheap cause it had been used or returned I fell in love with the Kershaw Leek. My taste in pocket knives has changed what I use them for and why I carry pocket knives has changed. My taste has matured if you will and the Kershaw Leek fits with my maturity changes perfectly. Don't get me wrong I still love my first quality pocket knife my Kershaw Chive but now the Leek fits the bill so much better. So if you're on the fence about getting yourself a Kershaw Leek I think you should go for it no doubt.

Ghost_Rider79: I'll preface this review with, "It's a family member gift."
This is an iconic and durable Ken Onion design. I purchased my first and "only" Leek, 1600 SS, in early 2008. The blade is etched "Nov 07". Production date, I believe. It has served me well as an EDC. I've used it daily since then, w/in reasonable capacity. I did break the tip by prying something, totally my fault. Kershaw offered a blade replacement for $10.00. Decided to reprofile using KO knife sharpener... no problem. About two months ago, June 2021, the torsion spring finally broke. Contacted Kershaw once more, and was promptly sent, w/in 7 days, not one... but two torsion springs. Excellent Customer Service. Needless to say... my leek is once again riding in my left pocket. Fourteen years service... that's durability!
This is almost the perfect EDC knife. I find the lock feature unnecessary. I carry my Leek tip-down, as originally shipped... but in my left pocket with the blade towards the pant seam. That prevents accidental opening towards the inner leg, and my hand when digging into my left pocket.
I have medium sized hands, so the ergonomics of the handle works/ fits comfortably &...

juliet: I've owned 5 of these Kershaw Leeks over the last 10 years and all have not disappointed. Some I lost and some I gave away when people were so impressed with it. The Sandvik steel really holds an edge and the assisted opening is a great feature. Solid spring clip has never broken or lost tension, I really can't say enough good about this series of knife.

Glenn Davis: My second one. I broke the tip on my first one, witch was totally my fault. Operator error. These knives are very sharpe and work perfectly. I do not go anywhere without it. I have other, bigger Keyshaws but these are my favorites
