D Stoll: Replaced factory speakers with these and they didn't disappoint.. they handle the aftermarket stereo which supposedly puts out @ 80w peak per ch and gives the system the highs it lacks from factory full range speakers.. your ears won't bleed but they may be pleased with them once you hear sounds you've missed from plain old blah paper cones.. for a replacement stand they're a yes, for an upgrade they'll do, but for the ultimate I'd get a component set up.. other than that they can and do get loud and clear in my power range..

Child of Ash 420: Crisp, and clear without being power hogs.
I wanted to replace my stock speakers, but did not want to have to install an amp to power them.
These are perfect, I had to make no alterations to my doors, or panels for installation.
Absolutely love the sound quality.
They came with wire clips, and new screws.

Michael Morrison: Kind of a weird hack, but hard to find component 6x8s, just unscrew the phillips head from the back magnet almost all the way, bang that screw against a hard surface to break the tweeter out, cut wires as close as you can to the woofer cone on both sides, pull wires out of back of speaker basket and splice longer wires up to where you want tweeter (tweeter has a built in capacitor crossover). Might need to cut off some of tweeter stem to get it to fit, hardest part is mounting tweeter since it wasn't designed to be mounted separately.

Courtney L: Replaced both front speakers on my 2013 F150 after the front driver's side blew. Once I got the adapter, these went in quite easily!
Hardest part was figuring out how to get the door panel off. Other than that: bolt off, bolt on.
Keep in mind that you will want to look into whether or not you need the speaker adapter for your particular vehicle to avoid soldering ($14 for mine from amazon). This will also involve tying back the extra length in wiring to avoid it getting hit by the window when it goes down. This involved me taking the door panel off an additional time... 2 zip ties fixed that right up.
They are better than the cheap original Ford speakers, but I am limited by the factory stereo to truly test the limits of these speakers

Keith: Very easy, direct replacement for all 4 factory speakers in my 2012 F250, XL, Crew Cab. Sound is probably better than stock, but I replaced the head unit at the same time, so can’t make a direct comparison. These are a mid-grade speaker, so I’m not expecting true audiophile sound quality. They were a breeze to install though.
