am: very comfortable shoe. i prefer these square toe shoes to pointed ones. just wondering what kind of leather this is and i hope this pair is durable.

rv: These are very comfortable shoes and fit my fairly wide foot very well even though I didn't order a wide width size. These shoes were comfortable the minute I put them on. There is no break-in time. I wore them all day yesterday and today and so far, they've been a welcome treat. I have purchased far more expensive shoes that are a lot less comfortable and require days and even weeks to break in. Not these! They were comfortable from the get-go. I think these shoes look professional and complement a suit nicely, yet are modern enough to not be totally boring. The soles seem a little cheap to me, but time will tell. For the price, I'm happy!

B B : I wear dress shoes everyday as I'm not a fan of trainers.
Of the dress shoes I've bought these are the most comfortable and durable.
Great look, great fit and no arch problems.

After A LOT of wear and tear they do sometimes squeak when I walk.
Take the insole out and add a bit of powder or paper towels under it.
The squeak is the insole rubbing against the inside of the shoe.

Honestly I'll probably buy another pair of these because they are so much better than any other dress shoe I've bought from $40-200

The only downside is they do wear out visibly after daily use.
They get those creases on the top front that most dress shoes get.
I'd say: They look fancy for about 4 months of daily wear, but are great for the casual office for 1 year plus.

My current pair is 16 months old of probably 70% daily wear and they still look adequate and feel great.
The shoelaces disintegrated about 4 months ago, but thats normal.
As you see in the photos they aren't anything to brag about, but since my feet stay under my desk most of the day I wear them anyway.

Forrest: I wear shoes as part of my work attire on a daily basis. I normally have problems with blisters when I am breaking in a new pair of shoes. These shoes are well made and comfortable from Day One. Extremely lightweight and breathable, they sport a classic look that never goes out of style. I have a somewhat difficult time believing that these shoes would list at $120. This said, they are a tremendous value at just under $60 which is the price I paid.

I have owned similar pairs of shoes by Kenneth Cole in the past that were made of "harder" and less comfortable material. They did not last very long and the leather finish eventually flaked off. I would not expect that these shoes would last very long in snowy or inclement weather. As I noted earlier in the review's subject line though, these shoes are very comfortable. I would go so far as to say that they are the most comfortable pair that I have ever owned. The interior feels like they have gel inserts already built in.
