Kehot 6.8-Quart Oilless Air Fryer - Cook Healthier Meals with No Oil

Jhena: I don't usually give bad reviews because I am a positive person and try to figure out a use for something but I paid a good bit of money for this air fryer and it stopped working after just 2 times. No power goes to it or anything. I am SO disappointed. I tried to return it but didn't have a box that fit it. By time I finally got one that could hold the weight and size, it was too late to return it. Save yourself the headache and don't buy it or you will end up throwing it in the trash...wasted money.

Farmer Fam: Kehot 6.8 AirFryer cooks well, but instructions make figuring out how it works difficult. Size of basket is great and overall size of unit isn't too big. Inside liner is hard to clean. It has a flat liner instead of full basket liner(which I happen to prefer). Also to shake or turn food, it just pulls out, without my pausing it. This detail should be in directions. If you pause it 1st, it resets the timer. It's not perfect, but it was definitely worth the sale price of $39 at Amazon.

IT LOOKED GOOD BUT I COOKED MY FRIES FOR AN HOUR. NO LIES. I GAVE UP AND DECIDED TO BUY SOMETHING UNDER $45. I PAID $39.99 AND AFTER ADDING TAX, IT CAME TO ABOUT $43 OR $44 FOR THIS LITTLE MIRACLE MACHINE AND IT HAS BEEN FANTASTIC SO FAR. I THINK FRIES WAS PRESET FOR 24 MINS BUT MY FRIES COOKED WELL IN LESS THAN 24 MINS. IT WAS EASY TO SET AND USE. NO BOGUS MANUAL - JUST STRAIGHT FORWARD. I AM STILL GOING TO BUY A 10 QUART BUT FOR NOW, THIS MACHINE DOES WONDERS FOR ME. I'VE MADE FRIES 3 TIMES, BURGER, FISH, SHRIMP, CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS AND RIBS. MY HUSBAND HATES DARK MEAT WITH PASSION BUT HE DEVOURED THE DRUMSTICKS IN MINUTES. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS FOR NOW. YOU REQUIRE ALMOST NO OIL TO COOK ALL THESE FOODS. wangchao: Large capacity, I regret not buying one earlier, it is really convenient. My family likes to eat fried foods, but they are afraid that eating too much is unhealthy and will cause obesity. The air fryer is really an amazing invention. You can make crispy food without oil. I have been looking for recipes recently and I really like it.

Alex Shvartsman: This was our first time purchasing an air fryer, and this seemed like a good choice. It was better priced than comparable models and it has a larger cooking compartment. So far, we're quite satisfied.

There's no setup: the unit was just plug-and-play. There are presets for different things you might want to cook, and ample air fryer recipes online. So far we've made french fries and chicken fingers. The fries were nice and crispy (tip: soak them thoroughly in water before you cook if you want them to come out crispy.) The chicken was flavorful and retained the flavor of the spices we used as opposed to cooking it in the pressure cooker or in the oven, which seem to dull those flavors.

Each dish took about 20-24 minutes total, with the unit automatically stopping in the middle so the food could be flipped over.

There seem to be a ton more things one can make in this thing, up to and including a cake. I don't think we're quite ready for that undertaking, but we look forward to exploring some of the other simpler options and to adding healthy(ish) fried dished to our dinner selection.
