Bailey Clark: I have a papillon dachshund mix, he is long and moderately short. I bought a small and to my surprise the length fit him perfectly however the front was too long for him so during our walk I had to adjust (cuff) it frequently.
The other problem I experiences was the piece under the rain coat itself that is used to secure the sides didn’t snap in that well. Only one button on both sides worked (there are two rows with two buttons in each row). So my dog ended up peeing on himself.
It is water proof but due to the issues mentioned I had to take it off half way through our walk because it became too much of a hassle, so I just put an umbrella above him for the remainder duration.

nikki! at the disconikki! at the disco: I got the size M for my 16lb fluffy maine coon mix! He is okay with wearing clothes, but it's rather hot where we live so I didn't want anything that slipped over the head. The snap buttons make it quick to put on (a must for cat clothes!) and although the back a bit long, and it's a bit hard to keep it sitting right while he's walking around, it looks ADORABLE. Just check that the size will fit your cat's floof and make sure they don't over heat because it is waterproof so obviously it's not breathable!

Atira SheaAtira Shea: The media could not be loaded.  This raincoat is perfect for my dog! The size was a great fit - size medium for my 10lb poodle-bichon mix. I was unsure if I should follow the sizing guide and was tempted to get a small, but this was the right move. The length and height of the coat are perfect and worked great on our first use in some light rain.
Other reviewers are right: the leash hole is hard to find & very small. It’s in the seam among the back of the neck. Not super ideal for harnessed dogs, but worked well with her collar so I have no complaints there.
The material is a little weird, vinyl-y, but the style is very cute and the coat is very functional overall.

* Updating to add more photos/videos because I just take so many of my dog in this cute raincoat when we use it — all season attire!!

DJ: This rain coat is adorable and perfectly fits our 9 1/2 lb. ShihTzu. It is designed to keep his head, ears, and legs dry, while it’s flexible enough to allow him to “take care of business” without distracting him. I would definitely give it a 5 Star, but the vinyl is thin and the snaps are very tight and somewhat difficult to undo. I fear they will soon rip out of the coat. (Velcro would be really nice!). We live in Las Vegas so we haven’t had to use it often, but it certainly keeps him dry when the skies open up.

alittlebitlexialittlebitlexi: I guess I shouldn't be surprised with the price, but I was hoping for a diamond in the rough. I guess without any quality control, it's pretty much a crapshoot.

The pros: It does cover my dog's body, and I guess that's the point, but the pros pretty much stop there.

The cons: My dog does not mind wearing coats when it's cold out, but this raincoat is not good. The main issue, is that the flap that goes under her body was not positioned well in regards to the length/size of the coat. You'd think with a larger size, the underside attachment would be placed in a way not to impede movement. She's only 19 lbs but she has a thick torso so I bought a Large. The flap attaches so close towards the front of the coat that it cuts deep into her front legs making it pretty difficult and uncomfortable for her to walk. I'm hoping I can MacGyver it in some way so I don't have to use that underside attachment. Also the leash opening at the nape of the neck is so far off center, when I attach the leash to her collar it just pulls the raincoat in the most irritating way. I don't want to open a larger hole because that will defeat the purpose to keep the rain...
