Colleen Dodds: When I washed and dried before use as advised there was a lot of lint and some loose threads along the edges. They are still nice towels but as they were in the upper price range I am a bit disappointed.

B. Campana: We wanted inexpensive but decent towels that the kids and their friends could use for the hot tub, and these fit the bill. Not the cheap, useless ones that you'd get at the dollar store or ABC in Hawaii, but not Costco or LLBean either. They'll probably be good for a year, and will do the job just fine. Would purchase again.

Mom of 2: I ordered these towels for my daughter to take to camp. I had ordered a lightening deal a few weeks earlier and they were super thin...these were so thick! They are very soft, even after washing. The colors are super vibrant. They are each a little different, but look nice together since they all have the same striped pattern. I am happy with the quality of the towels for the price. They were not as cheap as the lightening deal towels, but they certainly are worth the extra few dollars!

Cathy in the country: I bought these for the grandkids for Easter and had their names embroidered on them ...was thrilled with the thickness and quality...was told to soak in vinegar before washing to brighten the colors and to wash alone to prevent getting lint all over them.

E: Okay, so I got these to dry off my dog after baths. Because I didn't want to use my "nice" house towels. I ran them through a quick wash with some white vinegar and a touch of detergent. They looked just as beautiful afterward, as before. I've had them for a few weeks, now. And I've used several of them, and washed them several times. These are SO thick. And SO absorbent. I've not seen any frays, and don't expect to...the stitching is ridiculously strong and thick. The colors are really, really eye-popping and beautiful. These are just sitting, folded, in a back hallway near a mud closet.

Colors: Perfect - eye catching, crisp, clear, haven't faded
Stitching: Strong - no frays after several washings, and none expected
Absorbency: Incredible - one of these absorbs what 1 regular bath towel absorbs
Value: I found 1 towel that looked similar at a national chain store, which I'm sure would've shredded after a few washes, for the price of ALL FOUR OF THESE!

These are awesome! Get them!

ImBradWImBradW: Given the cost and some of the reviews I had high-hopes for these towels. They seem well made, look beautiful, and nice and big. My only problem with them is they are really thin. I was expecting something super plush and soft. These towels are more like one-ply toilet paper. Does the job but not cushy soft and thick. Overall they aren't bad towels just overpriced for what you get. I would say a good price for 4 would be around $30.

Note; I went to wash these towels and noticed one of them has strings that have pulled away or something. Probably something happened when it was being made. I still like the towels and will say that they seemed to be softer after washing. Still giving 4 stars for overall quality vs. price.

bluetear: I bought these for the gym and LOVE THEM!!! Colors are super colorful, they are really large, super soft, wash and dry without issues and I've washed and dried them a LOT because I train at least 4 times a week. I've bought really expensive towels and these FAR surpass those. I would order these again without any hesitation. I LOVE THEM!! As a matter of fact, I don't need any more but will order another set for down the road.

Update: Having used these (I did order another set because I LOVE THEM) for a while now, I can say they hold their colors wonderfully, they don't "pill" from the dryer and they absorb water extremely well. The colors are outstanding, bold, beautiful!! I have 2 expensive chaise lounges and I put these colorful and fun towel's on the seating area. I like the green of my lounge chairs, but these look a lot nicer. Also, these towel's are super soft, so it's much more comfortable on bare skin. An added benefit is, if my dogs jump on a chair, I don't have to worry about the chaise fabric. I just pull these off and wash em. I'm now 56 years old and can honestly say that I have never found a better towel.
