Amazon Customer: I bought 9 of these towels as gifts for a "girls trip" to Hawaii. They had so many colors to pick from. It made it easier to make sure everyone had a color that matched their bathing suit. Also so everyone had a different color to know who's was who's. The ladies loved them. The towels were everything they described in the description. They absorb well, sand shook off easy and the colors were bright and beautiful. All the ladies kept thanking me. The towels made our trips to the beach a better expirence. They washed up great also. The towels became blankets because they were nice enough to use on the plane home...nobody would have guessed they were towels.

louise: I bought these to use at home instead of traditional towels as I thought they could be better for the planet quicker to dry and smaller to wash. I’ve had Turkish towels before and they haven’t been as soft as these but actually that’s quite a nice thing in a towel as it means they dry more effectively. These towels are really soft, maybe too soft because they don’t dry very effectively. I have washed them at least 10 times now and the fluff is still coming off. Because they are the black and white towels the black fluff does look a bit grim on your skin. I wear contact lenses and I can’t dry my hands in these towels before I put them in because they would get covered in fluff. I think when the fluff subsides (which I hope it will) that will be great but for now they are a bit of a pain. They look beautiful but they are so fluff and not that absorbent. Hopefully over time they will improve.

M, A,: Bought these as a gift for a relative moving into a house on the water. I wanted a quality towel, but lightweight that they could keep in a basket by the door. Purchased 4 of them in different colors. These are perfect!! I am very happy with the feel as I have had other Turkish towels not as soft. Terrific New Home gift.

Stacey Bishop: Purchased to take to Hawaii- it was a plane blanket, beach towel and wrap to keep warm at the top of the volcano. Super soft and really does repel sand well. And after a few washes it still looks brand new.

Rhubarb: I got this to replace a much older one from a different company, and found out that this company is SO MUCH BETTER!!! Worth the price in every way. I didn’t realize there was such a difference between brands, if I knew I would have got this first. Now you know!! Don’t buy the cheaper ones! I missed years of this better one, lol. I followed the tip for soaking first, and right away after the first wash and line dry the towel was thick, soft and luxurious feeling. The color and weaving pattern is also really lovely.

LL: Good quality towels but DO follow the instructions provided with the towel: on the picture is after 4 soaking and washes, air dried, then 10 minutes in the dryer. Although the instructions say it's best to let them air dry I did have to use the dryer after each time to remove all the fluf because there is a LOT. Like if you didn't soak/wash/dry them at least 4 times before your holidays you would have a surprise being covered in fluf as soon as you used them. That said, once they are ready to use they are really nice, they look pretty they are lightweight and they dry fast while being absorbent too. I might order more!

They’re lovely and soft. Have washed as per instructions and they look slightly ragged now and bits are fluffing off but that should settle down the more they are washed a few more times.

For the price they seem good value.

They are thin but a good weight.

I’ve ordered two and may order more!

Shopper: I followed the directions given to “train” the cotton towel to be absorbent. It is not as absorbent as a terrycloth towel. It makes a great beach towel since it dries fast and wraps nicely. Takes up less space in bag. I was hoping to also use it in the bathroom (since it is so soft and nice looking) but it leaves me a bit damp when used indoors: the towel dries the water droplets which is perfect for pool or beach as the sun and air quickly take care of the damp left on skin- but I wouldn’t want to use after shower in the winter when I want to dress immediately afterwards.
Love it as a beach towel and small summer travel blanket.
