Steven D.: I installed the switches on our outside lights. I really like the dawn-to-dusk scheduling to turn the lights on and off. Also put one my office. There is an away setting, but you can only use that on a single day setting - it cannot cross midnight. For example, I want to have the light go on randomly from 7PM until 2AM. I can't. I can only set it to go from 7PM until midnight. They were very easy to install and even when I had to set them up again after I got a new router and password, it went well.

Marko: I have switched from other smart switches to the KS200 for all non-dimmable lights. For dimmable I have bought KS220 but haven't installed them yet. The KS200 is super easy to set up, works with Homeasistant and SmartThings hub and Alexa. For the price these are exceptional. I wish they had double tap to add more automation options.

Anohnmouy: I recently purchased the [Kasa wifi] smart switch, and it has transformed my home automation experience. This nifty device has made it incredibly convenient to control my lights and appliances with just a few taps on my phone or a voice command to Alexa. However, my experience with it had a few bumps along the way, hence the five-star rating, as it largely depends on the wiring in your house and the device you're using to set it up.

Setting up the smart switch was a breeze in terms of the physical installation. The clear instructions provided made it easy to connect the wires correctly, and the switch itself is of excellent quality. However, when it came to configuring the switch through the companion app on my old phone, I encountered some difficulties. It seemed that my phone's compatibility was a bit of an issue, causing setup problems within the app. I was getting a bit frustrated until I decided to give it a try on my friend's newer smartphone, and the difference was remarkable.

On the new phone, the setup process was a walk in the park. The app was responsive, and I was able to establish a connection between the smart switch and my home network effortlessly....

Sama: Title: "A Smart Addition to My Home"

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars)

I can't say enough good things about the Kasa smart key. It's made my home feel truly smart and convenient. With this little device, I have access to all the keys downstairs, even when I'm upstairs, making life a whole lot easier.

One of my favorite features is the scheduling option for the front door light. I no longer have to fumble for my keys in the dark when I come home late. The light is on and welcoming, thanks to Kasa.

The motion sensor for the bathroom is a game-changer, especially during those midnight trips. It lights up when it senses motion, saving me from the blinding brightness of a regular light. It's a small change that has made a big difference.

The Kasa app is impressively user-friendly, with intuitive icons for each area of control. Setting up this smart key was a breeze, even for someone not very tech-savvy. It's a simple and effective addition to my smart home setup. I highly recommend the Kasa smart key for anyone looking to make their home smarter and more convenient.

Alec: I got some of the Kasa smart plugs and loved how easy they were to setup, so I started to look into other Kasa products that I saw in the app. The app is very easy to do and makes it very easy to troubleshoot if you have any issues during setup. I got these because I have a few outside lights that are on switches, and I have wanted to add a dusk/dawn sensor to them for quite some time because I always forget to shut them off and adding these to my home gave me that option along with the ability to schedule other times, I want them on or to turn them on/off remotely. The app is also seamless with alerting and doing firmware updates to the Kasa products you own. Highly recommend anything Kasa.

middlenamefrank: I've had a couple of light switches fail in the last few years, and I've replaced them with this switch. The thing I like best about it is that it's extremely intuitive and easy to use in normal use. Push on, push off. No guest has ever had to have me explain how to use it. The button is a little bit "mushy" feeling but it's not too bad. Setup for the app requires a few steps, but really goes as smoothly as any WiFi device I've ever checked into my router. From then on, even through blackouts, no configuration or remote services ever need to be updated.

My only gripe would be the cover plate, which has sharp edges that I find annoying. I just kept and used the cover plates from my old switches and everything fit up and worked perfectly.

Bryan: No screw terminals are needed for installation; all wires are attached from the switch box to the switch with wire nuts, to fasten them all together. This means you have a lot of wires/nuts to try to squeeze back into the switch box as you push the switch into the box to fasten it to the wall. It’s a bit of a tight fit (not as big as the dimmer switch by TP Link, but still quite big) but with time and patience I was able to get it to fit.

The bigger concern is the switch plate cover that comes with the switch. It looks great, but after installing it, good luck removing it! That thing is locked on tight with clips on the top and bottom of the switch itself. To remove the switch plate cover you’ll need to use something like a thin blade screwdriver to get under the corners of the cover, to try to pry the plate off of those clips (which are near the center of the switch plate). Very, very challenging and it is not a great feeling to see the plate flex and make cracking noises; it sounds like it will break in half. But apparently that is the only way to remove the plate.

Make sure the switch is centered properly and you like the position, because it is a major...

AnthonyAnthony: I have been using Kasa smart switches & outlets for the past year or two. I have about 10-12 devices. I find them to be very easy to install & they integrate seamlessly with Alexa. Actually; automatically even. I never have to do anything. During the initialization process on the Kasa app, I always get a message saying that Alexa has recognized the new device and added it to my smart home device list. After that, I really never use the Kasa app again, I do all my routines and automation, etc, from within Alexa. On the few times I have lost power and/or wifi, my devices have automatically reconnected without a problem.

I have a whole house attic exhaust fan that I have been running on ancient X10 smart home technology. I wasn't sure how this switch would work with the fan, and to complicate things, the fan had a 2-speed rotary wall switch. I didn't care about the 2-speed as we have never used high anyway (I think it would suck the screens out of the windows!) so on the Kasa switch I just hooked up the white common wire, one black wire to the line in, and the other black wire to the Low leg to the fan. The other wire (High feed to fan) I just wired nutted off,...
