Paul: I have bought 3 of these so far. One top cracked when a pan was placed on a corner and cracked the glass, the second, a jar of Nutella fell from a cupboard and went through the glass and the third one never arrived even though Amazon said it had been delivered.
You basically get what you pay for. This is cheap and cheerful but don’t expect it to last a long time. The glass top gets marked and scratches very easily. I would only re it this Hob if you were replacing a broken one and then were selling your house. It’s not going to last a long time looking in a good condition.

M. SilvaM. Silva: I have wanted to change out my 40-year-old electric stove top for years. After reviewing ceramic cook tops, I ordered this Karinear 30-inch radiant electric stove. I knew my cutout was going to be close, but fully expected I was going to need to trim out additional space. I was not looking forward to that. To my surprise this unit fit in the existing space perfectly.

I hooked this up to my existing 40-amp circuit. This was not a difficult project. I was able to do the entire job alone and relatively quickly. The only negative on this stove I see is the knob layout. I do not understand why the top knob is set to control the bottom right dual burner. There just does not seem to be any logic to it. I love the simplicity of this stove with the knobs. Overall, I am very pleased with the results. I have done a little cooking on it and it is working perfectly. I suspect I will be happy with this unit for years.

R Hampton: I waited a month after installing this before writing a review, because any changes always seem bad with anything new. I had a GE stovetop that lasted 24 years before the glass broke unexpectedly so I am comparing it to it. So here it is:
Pros:
1. Easy to install - Less than 1 hour and half of that time was just cleaning the surface and removing the old one. There is nothing complex changing these out if you are replacing an existing electric stovetop. There are only 2 hot wires and a ground. That should be true on your existing plug and what is coming out of the new stove top. Both wires are 110 each so either can go to either side. (No nuetral on 220). Mounting: There is no need to mount brackets. My old one popped up with a flat end screw driver and was just weight heavy holding it in place - so same thing with this. It doesn't move just dropped it in after attaching felt edging that came with it. Note: It came with a scraper, mounting brackets and wire leads ready to attach to your old plug wires. I just attached the wire to where my old wires went to. SIMPLE. Nice!
2. Matt coated top is just like my old GE that I had for 24 years. It never showed dirt or scratches...

stlshark: My husband ordered this to replace our cracked GE stovetop. The burner controls are completely opposite of my old stovetop and to me they make no sense. I struggle every time I try to use a burner as to which one turns on which burner. Seems they could have made this a LOT easier to understand. You have to press an ON button to turn the stovetop on, before you can select a burner. I would have returned this and kept looking, but my husband already had installed it and he was happy with it so it stays. The front burner seems to cook unevenly when I have a full pan. I have to turn the pan to cook everything evenly. I would not recommend this stove top. I think there is a better option somewhere out there, but I am stuck with mine.

Kevin Horton: The hob looks smart and as expected. We have used it for a week now with no problems and it cooks our food fine.
Some comments:
* The controls settle on each number rather than moving continuously but that's fine and no doubt intended.
* The hot-hob sensor lights are very sensitive and respond to neighbouring rings even if their surface is only slightly warm.
* Recognising which control is for which ring could be made easier if each had a corresponding coloured spot and an easily visible pointer (white or coloured) on each control would be useful since from a distance all controls vertically aligned could mean all rings are off or all set to 6.
* The hob surface does form marks easily but these can be removed with a hob cleaner paste. I go careful on the marked-out rings as these seem to be painted on the surface and could be easily damaged.

Being a less known brand I am a little concerned as to how easy it would be to get spare parts in the future but for now we are pleased with the hob and I think it is good value for money.
