Mern: This product does work, and I like the easy way to remove pet hair, but I'm afraid to apply pressure because the pins are too sharp and don't have any coating on them. I would not want to hurt my pets. It might work better if I applied more pressure, but as I stated, I'm afraid to hurt my pet. I've used it on a short haired cat and short haired dog, (boxer). I would not buy it again and I do not recommend it only because the pins are not coated to protect the pet. My dog enjoys it more and I was actually surprised it worked on her. I originally purchased it to remove the matted hair on my cat. It has helped.

Gerry: I use the brush to groom my cats. One is a short hair and the other is a long haired cat. Both will sit and enjoy the brushing with this brush, whereas it was a chore to try to get them to sit still for a brushing with other products. I highly recommend it.

dreamer68: This is absolutely the best and most effective dog brush we have ever bought. We have a Australian Shephard Yellow Lab mix and she sheds like crazy. The first time we used the brush on her, I had to empty the bush 14 times. I was amazed that she had that much loose hair. She even enjoys being brushed with it which is unheard of. Am going to buy another one incase this one gets over worked.

N. Fredrick: The Kangrow self cleaning brush worked nicely on my mothet's Bichon, even with his tight curls & the brush was easy to clean with a simple push of the button. The teeth fully retracted & the hair dropped off. Much easier compared to another retractable brush I own, which doesn't fully retractable & I still have to clean.
I originally was worried the button to retract & engage the teeth would be hard to push, but my 83 year old mother had no problem & the brush felt good in her hand.
