Amazon Customer: The screw to attach the camera to the mount plate is extremely small, the wrench is not magnetized resulting in potential loss of the screw itself if dropped. There is no way to delete unwanted history on the app. You can not turn off the camera for periods of time. Other than those negative comments, pleased so far

Cindy B.Cindy B.: Like that when you look at clips you see who has been there
Dislike that have not been able to get notified right away when somebody walks up

Mztinybeauty: This doorbell is great for the price I paid for. The quality of the camera is clear. The only complaint if you want call it that is the charging of the door bell is a hassle. You have to take it off and charge it inside or hook it up there but have find long enough cord to able to reach it. We love ours.

Alom AkelAlom Akel: When you follow the instructions, it's simple to set up the doorbell camera; however, the instructions don't say how to switch between 2.4 and 5 GHz for the internet. It's a loud doorbell and a fantastic, clear video.
I appreciate that it detects activity when I'm not home and that I can see it from anywhere on my front door, but I don't like that occasionally events are missing when the motion detecting area is active.

Serena CorbettSerena Corbett: I wasn't sure it would be useful as I have to mount it on my porch shed door. My door is sideways to the approach and I want to see people, not necessarily talk to them! The motion detection is a little slow. The quality of pictures is pixelated up close so unless you know someone it's hard to tell. It was easy to setup and does what I wanted! The 1 photo shows me going in, I'd already been out so thats how slow. Parcel delivery people have been fast enough not to be caught at all! The other pic is from the software. It's a creeper that would come to my old place uninvited. I was napping and didn't know he came but this caught him red handed, even trying my doorknob! With this I was able to leave him a message to tell him to stop and that I have him on camera. (He's older and hates tech). Can also take to police if it continues. I have to say if it wasn't his vehicle shown in background I wouldn't be 100% sure it was him or someone else, it's that unclear from 3ft away.
Just this catch was worth it to have my new place feel safer! My boys also had fun playing with it while helping me to move! Win!

Mark C.: I purchased this in April 2021. It is a simple system to use and has worked mostly without issue for almost two years. A few points:
1. There is often a "delay" between the presence of a person and the automatic activation of the camera. It can be a few seconds, but that can be enough to miss the individual for camera purposes.
2. I have a good WiFi signal in my home, but engaging the live camera/intercom can take 5 to 10 seconds.
3. The battery that comes with the doorbell lasts about 18 months before it needs to be replaced.

Keith mcmullen: It's nice, for someone whom is always attempting to be frugal, and very much relies on the reviews for information.
I always tell Myself l am going to do more to contribute, and not just things l dis/like.
Being on a budget and finding this affordable, and it has most of the checks ✅ of the newer, more highly priced models.
It was extremely easy to install, if l were to be picky it'd seem the "cradle" where the device is to sit in, which is very easy to put up, would better serve, if it had the extended top part, which l believe to help protect, and keep rain away,
Was instead or also on the bottom, where then gravity could assist w the constant position of the device.
I have a concern it will not be able for long term use w what seems like maybe a spring squeeze & hold type of keeping it in position.
I am concerned that after a few of unintentional presses , maybe off of dead center button push, will more and more push it ,from the being squeezed position, and possibly fall off .
Oh a part of this concern stems from that l misplaced the *star* security screw that tightly holds it into the "cradle".
At the time thinking l have any old screw, but not...

Kevin: Okay, so I got it!! I posted some answers to some questions about this device, and if you read them, I don’t really say if this is a “good” or a “bad” device. Yes, I purchased it from amazon, I own it. I have not been paid, I have not been asked to give a good review. Or a bad review. Honest to God. You need to understand why I got it, and the fact I really care about reviews. I get pissed at reviews in certain places because I don’t know if they mean anything. I really mean this review.
Someone was in my house that shouldn’t have been. Doesn’t matter how I know, I know for a fact they were. I felt violated, a mixture of pissed and embarrassment, partly because I know that I am at fault for 5% of why it happened. Again, unnecessary detail, but it’s a fact.
So, I start thinking about getting cameras, but I don’t understand shit about them. I’m not stupid, in fact I have a Ph.D. in physics from a really good University. In 1993. Oh, I know about infrared light, I know about infrared detectors, I know about storing files to the cloud, or to a local drive, electrically hard-wired or battery, wireless or connected to the router. But, there are SO...

Catherine Womack: I have had the camera/doorbell for several years and love it, except that I cannot get any response to questions I have. The charge used to hold for months and is now lasting just a few weeks, the doorbell no longer rings in the house. I have written multiple times asking for answers to address these issues and no one ever responds. If someone would respond, and help me resolve these issues, I would give it a high star rating for the product itself
