Kalyss 8" Short Black Afro Kinky Curly Wig for Women

C. Mathes: I bought this wig as part of a "Queen Charlotte" Halloween costume. It is BIG. I got it to work but found it difficult to style. An afro-pick wouldn't go through it and a low heat curling iron straightened it out and then wouldn't re-curl into any sort of pleasing pattern. I ended up trimming it and finger-combing to get it to look right. That being said - it was not itchy at all; not hot and comfortable to wear. The elastic wig cap held it on and I didn't need bobby pins or anything.

Amazon Customer: This afrooooo. OMG….YALLL. Lol ok, let me get to it. This wig is by far the best synthetic wig I have ever seen. It’s super soft like natural hair and the fullness of it is very believable, you can move your fingers through it like a cloud. It’s not “fake shiny” either. It has bounce like cotton candy. I can’t stop smiling just thinking about it. Girl get this wig.

*do not buy this if you intentions are to put heat on it or comb it. It is meant to keep this Afro form. There is not closure at the front, it’s just the perfect amount of hair all around

JarvieJarvie: This wig was THEE perfect afro texture, perfect curl pattern, perfect color, and perfect size for the look I was going for with this tennis themed photoshoot. I wanted something close to platinum blonde and closer to the real texture of Afrocentric hair. I got sooooo many compliments when I wore it that I even kept it on after my shoot. EyenEyen: I love how full it is, and tons of people kept asking if it was my real hair. It’s also really light and fluffy. Didn’t feel the weight on my head at all. It also very easy to style (just part and press down, and a line appears). I am wearing it in the summer as well and I do not get as much extra heat as I had anticipated from the way it looks. In all, great value for my money.

Sheila T.Sheila T.: Well I work in TV and film; I had a movie set in 1978 so I ordered this wig just for that: easier than curling my natural relaxed hair. I never wear wigs, so it had to be comfortable, which it was; and the cap is large. I wore it for 3 days at 12-14 hours at the time. My natural hairline (edges) is low, so most wigs don’t fit well at the front: this one did. And I had no issue hiding my bra strap length hair underneath without braiding my hair. The hair stylists on set were impressed by it; so much so that both of those who helped me put it on ordered 2 each. Most people thought it was my real hair. I got lots of compliments on it. And the price: fantastic! You get a great wig for a party wig price. Also, at the end of the day, I would just put it in a L ziploc bag, take the air out and throw it in my overpacked suitcase. And all I had to do before putting it on was let it out, and do a bit of finger fluffing if it was no longer a nicely round afro. Anyhow, it was worth the purchase.
