A. K.: About 10% of these chalk pieces were broken. That being said, it could have been broken due to rough handling during delivery. We'll never know. The good news? It is chalk, and a lot of it. My kids will enjoy it regardless of the pre-broken state.

Sarasri: A lot of reviews complained about broken chalk upon arrival, so I was definitely worried. However, when I opened the box, I was relieved to find not a single piece was broken!
I'm not even going to say I must have gotten better quality than the other reviewers because my toddler is in the 'throwing stage' and these definitely can crack and break. I honestly think it's probably due to how rough the carrier is with the package.
As for the quality of color, they're beautiful! There's quite a few 'blue' colors in the pack and I could probably do without the black and gray color since they don't show up on our sidewalks and cement very well, but all-in-all, the other colors are vibrant. I definitely don't regret my purchase, but I will probably try another box next time for more variety in colors.

Musact2Musact2: It's chalk! Even Crayola black isn't totally black. We like the variety in colors, especially black & white, as both get used a lot in the chalk art we are doing. There were a few broken pieces when we received it, but that is no reason to complain, given what it is, it's use, and shipping method. It is adding some very useful colors to our Disney chalk drawings!

PointBeing: This is the best chalk! We’re using it every day (that it doesn’t rain) to help get us outdoors and get in some fresh air during this time. The colors are vivid and there is plenty to share. I tried ordering another box but it says it is out of stock/unknown whether they will have more in stock. Too bad because it was a great deal when I bought it and I definitely would have stocked up. Some sticks arrived broken, but I feel like that’s to be expected. Most were intact and, well, it’s chalk!
