Amazon Customer: The belt is of decent qulity as something that will hold your pants up. It is functional and convinient.
As for the use as a gun belt it has several issues:
1. It is 1 3/8" wide. This makes a substantial difference for most holster attachments. It will not work at all with the Alias Neomag system.
2. It is a bit thin for a gun belt. It measures 1/8" while my 5.11 belt measures 3/16" thick. That 1/16" does make a big difference with holding the holster secure.
3. The belt bucklen is wide enough to where it encroaches on the exact place where I would like to clip the holster. You can shift it over but then it encroaches on the spot I want to keep my spare mag.
