Chrissy: Bought it for an injured arm. It came quickly and got the job done… it did slip a bit but it was soft around the neck. Will use it again if needed. I liked that it was adjustable strap.

Nana Beanie: For the next 6 weeks I am required to wear an arm sling 24 hours a day after rotator cuff surgery, so I wanted a second sling while my original one from the doctor is being washed. I tried several different brands, but none were as good as my original … until I found this one. It is exactly like the sling from the doctor. Adjustable, washable, breathes well, stretchy and comfortable, very supportive yet doesn’t put strain on my neck. A little more expensive then a few others, but not outrageous. And definitely well worth it.

maureen.apps: Was pleased with quick delivery.i thought it would be a bit more substantial.feels very comfortable except for awful Velcro which is plastic razor sharp not Velcro as I have ever come across.which is overlapping the strap particularly when the strap narrows with the weight of the broken limb.i hope no one tries use it on anyone not able to trim it or alter its position.had to get a bit stocking bandage to wrap round and round it too ma ke it comfortable to use. Not sure it will last or I can bear for the ten weeks estimated for my shoul der joint to heal.one given by NHS casually had this same fixing also razor sharp and very uncomfortable.hope they don't use them on children.had to keep it as desperate and in lot of pain fleece material very hot Particularly with present weather.

Zaz: My son, although shorter than the size guide, tried the smaller size, which was too small for his arm.
This one was great! A very good value product.

Duduche: Having broken my scapula playing rugby I needed a good sling. You can find less expensive ones and others more expensive, the choice is yours. I opted for this product and received it the following day while choosing the normal delivery 3-5 days. I have been wearing it for 6 days (and nigths) now, I do recomend this product and Joslin Orthopedic Gear. If you are considering buying this product then I wish you a good recovery.

ZHM: This sling was purchased for my elderly mother who has recently had an operation on her arm. The foam one she was given by the hospital had caused her irritation and pain therefore it was replaced by this product.
It's lightweight material made it feel as though she was not wearing anything.
The overall service received was excellent. Thank you.

Alexander Hunter: Purchased this for my daughter who had broken her arm and the traditional hospital slings were causing discomfort around her neck.

It's soft material and washable and fashions across the back so no neck discomfort.

As with this type of item, it was essential that it was delivered quickly and with all the extra I had to pay for express postage, it worked out to be a very expensive item. She only wore it for a week and then was advised by the hospital not to wear a sling to help with regaining movement so we could probably have persevered with the hospital one if we had known.

Overall though, would recommend.

Jeff N: Bottom line: I would buy this one again even with its minor flaws.

My injury was a broken left clavicle, which is my non dominant side. Wore this sling nearly 24/7 for about 4 weeks, after 1 week of wearing the instacare provided sling + swathe (note, I did not purchase the Joslin swathe).

The bad:
- The shoulder strap could be wider. Doesn't need to be much, like a 1/2" wider. This would help with spreading out the weight of the arm in the sling. As well as be wider than the velcro patch, so less chance of velcro being exposed.
- The fabric stretches, especially the shoulder strap.
- Could use a bit of reinforcement in the forearm area.

The good:
- Extremely easy to setup, put on, and adjust one handed with no extra assistance needed.
- The material is sufficiently breathable and comfortable for what I would expect in a sling. It was no problem to wear against my chest/stomach underneath a shirt as I couldn't put my arm through a shirt sleeve for a few weeks.
- Outside of the stretching, it is fairly durable, especially the velcro patch which was a concern of mine at first. But no signs of the velcro failing after all my time of wearing...

sckmpu: I broke my left distal clavicle in a bike+car accident a little over a month ago. As a result, I've had to wear a sling 24/7 for the past month, even while sleeping, and I probably will have to for a few more weeks. They gave me a cheap blue sling in the hospital and told me I'd probably want to get something nicer. The cheap little strap on that drove my right shoulder crazy pretty much instantly, so I bought an Ace brand sling at the pharmacy to try to get something better. That one was at least nicer than the hospital one, but I was still having extreme shoulder muscle tension as a result of the weight from the sling strap on my right shoulder, which was exacerbated by the fact that it didn't fit me very well (strap rode across my neck, etc.) since I'm a somewhat petite female. That one was also really hard to adjust - it said it was for either arm, but wearing it on my left arm meant the slide buckle thing to change the strap length ended up behind my back, so I had to get help every time I needed to tighten the sling.

I finally gave in and ordered this after a week or two, and I am SO GLAD that I did. The price would have been worth it even if I only had to wear it for...
