laurie: I love it. It's not heavy at all and it's quiet. I use it at work (I am a card dealer in Vegas) and it has never died on me in an 8 hour plus shift. It's great for indoors yet when outdoors, in our lovely Vegas triple digit temps, it just circulates the hot air but anything is helpful then. It's also great for an alternative to a mask! Someone would have to cough (or if a smoker, blow their smoke) directly in my face. With this, it's constant fresh air blowing upwards in my face keeping nasty 2nd hand smoke out of my lungs.

JOLANA PEARCE: this fan arrived quickly. unfortunately it not as powerful as i hoped and sucks ion the ambient air around it to disperse towards your face at the front. What looked like vents at the back of the neck are not vents.
