Cyberguy: Purchased to replace a cheap 8" fan that simply does not provide any real airflow.
This one despite it being classed a 6" plug-in fan with a 4.5" blade moves triple the airflow over the one it is replacing using it's lowest setting.
I run this one plugged in off a phone charger and never the battery except in power failures ort if I need a portable fan.
So far I am very pleased with its performance and quietness.
The old fan lasted me about 5 years. The jury is still out if this one lasts even half that long.

Ben Connally: For its size, this fan works great! It was a little more expensive than other fans I saw, but I really needed the clip-on function because I was running out of desk space. Once I started using it, I found that it was quieter than the other four desk fans I own and more powerful than two or three of them (all four are larger than this one).

I clipped it to the bottom edge of the hutch on my desk so it can blow right in my face. With four different speeds (five if you include "off" as a speed), I can always turn it down if it gets to be too much air in my face. Or I can clip it onto something else if I want the air to come from a different direction/at a different angle.

I have it plugged into a USB charging port at all times, so I don't really know how long it will work on a full charge. The included cord is not very long, but I'm using a longer one that came with an old phone, so the cord length isn't really a restriction.

Overall, this fan is awesome. It's the best one out of the five I own. Although it's a little pricey, most of the other clip-on fans I found were in the same price range or even a little more expensive. If your desk space is limited and you...

Cogline: I just received this fan and I'm loving it so far. For those saying it is loose, don't forget to slide the provided nut over the post before snapping the clip onto the fan, then tightening as needed. Plugged into PC, and the tiny red LED on the back is flashing (charging). Way too tiny to disturb your sleep. Ran while charging. Unplugged from PC while plugged into the fan, and it kept running. When I place my hand on top, thumb on the front, my ring finger sits on the power button, and my middle sits on the speed button (on the back). I placed it 4' away, and I'm good at 1, the lowest speed. If I were hot, 2 or 3 would suffice. Don't think I'll ever need 4. It has a bit of a whine; about what you would expect. Blade width is 11 cm (4.33 in). Housing width is 5 3/4". Clip width is 3 3/4" and has a firm grip. Jaws open to over 2". I am glad I didn't get an el-cheapo fan. Also glad I got rechargeable; if the power goes out, I'm still gonna be cool. I'll see if it runs when the battery is dead, but plugged in. Also see how long battery lasts. I'll update the review then.
