AD: I've had an air fryer before (can't remember the brand) but I only used it 2 or 3 times and decided it was just not worth the hassle. I'm glad I gave this brand a try because I love it so far! Besides how beautiful the unit looks on my counter, it is SOOO much easier to use than whatever I had before. The food comes out great. Clean up is a breeze as well. This is a perfect gift.

Austin: This airfryer tray and basket come apart easily for a quick and thorough cleaning. Although it states 5.3 xl size, you still must not put very much food in or it doesn't cook in the middle.
The 5.3 quart must be a liquid volume measurement, although it is a cube shaped cooking area.
While making about half a basket of fries, I had to shake up the basket every few minutes, to get a decent even crispness throughout.
By having to agitate the basket, it opens up the fryer and as such loses heat.
Although this cooks quicker than a toaster oven or conventional oven. In my opinion, it is easier to get a convection oven that also airfrys because it has a flatter cooking surface to more evenly cook, without constantly stirring and shaking contents in a square shaped cooking area that is more compacted in.
