Andrew T.: Weeds don't like this torch--they get burned. I like that weeds don't like it. This is a great way to kill weeds without chemicals. I use it between my patio blocks and along my edging and any concrete cracks I have. The only problem is often the flame goes out, but at least the push button near the handle is enough to get it started again.

Z A: I recently bought this and tried it for the first time. I used a standard camping style propane tank. Setup took 2 minutes. 1) Make sure regulator valve on wand is fully closed. 2) screw in tank counter clockwise. 3) Open valve a little till you hear gas. 4) click igniter 5) burn those weeds! Works great.

Robert: there was quite a selection in fact i had actually put another torch in my cart when i saw this for a few $ cheaper and since it's a tool i'll use once in awhile i didn't want to spend much. some said the flame kept going out that is common with gas torch and since i'm using it on weeds on driveway , sidewalk and on curb of street it did go out several time but while i had small weeds burning next to the new group of weeds i just swung the wand to the weeds already burning and poof the flame was lite SO EASY . i have the green camping gas in the can and i may have used half of it maybe a little less. very pleased great deal.

Dtobaru: I had high hopes for the product but I have been a bit disappointed with it. To be fair, I haven't used this type of product before (I have used a mini one for plumbing) with the extension for weed burning, so I don't have any comparisons to make. I use this to burn weeds, especially dandelions, and when it stays lit, works very well. The auto ignite feature works well and conveniently located, it is lightweight, and the length makes it perfect to stand and burn away weeds (with a comfortable handle). Three issues I have had:
1. It doesn't stay lit, and here I am uncertain if it is the product or operator error. If you place the tip too close to the weeds/ground, the flame will go out, and if you aren't paying close attention, you can have considerable amount of propane expelling out. I have experimented with different spacing between the tip and the ground, and being further away does seem to mitigate the flame from going out, but not consistently.
2. When the flame goes out, it doesn't always ignite easily, as one has to click several times to get it re-ignited. Second, the blue know telling whether it is on or off, or how much propane force is being used isn't quite...
