Spira: I am totally new to embroidery, I make illustrations and wanted to start trying to embroider them on hoops. SO I know nothing about embroidery.
This kit in many ways is easy, all the tools you need are provided along with a map/guide for each image with clear instructions on what stitches to use where. There are then written instructions for the stitches on the other side of the guide, with very basic illustrations.
I think for many people the stitch guide would be easy to ready, but I am challenged when it comes to reading written instructions, and do better with visuals so I really reccomend looking up YouTube tutorials on basic stitches and practicing them before even starting on the big images.
There aren’t really any instructions aside from the stitch guide. No explanation on how to best start, or how to secure your thread at the beginning of a stitch. These might seem like small things but for me they really held me back on getting started cause I had to put everything down and look for instructions online.
Again nothing major, just my small troubles of learning this thing as a mentally impaired adult. I think being truly beginner friendly is...

Bri: This kit is okay. No real complaints but the needles are not the best quality. This is an easy fix though. Most craft stores have packs of embroidery needles for around $1
