Linda M: I really enjoyed reading this as it gives a perspective of life around Rush from Bo Snerdley. They were great friends on similar paths. I also liked learning Bo's perspective on events from a black man's perspective. Very enlightening. Brought tears to my eyes several times. Missing Rush.

Keith Moon: An excellent read. Back in the day, I tried to catch Rush’s radio show everyday. The book reminded me of how sorely he is missed. James Golden wrote an entertaining tribute to Rush.

Thomas M. Loarie: James Golden's book, "Rush on the Radio," is a fascinating memoir that delves into the life and career of the legendary talk radio host, Rush Limbaugh. As a close friend and longtime collaborator of Limbaugh's, Golden is uniquely positioned to offer insights into Limbaugh's journey to becoming one of the most influential voices in conservative politics.
One of the most compelling aspects of Golden's book is his personal journey to becoming Limbaugh's screener. As an African-American conservative, Golden was a rare breed in the world of talk radio, which made his eventual collaboration with Limbaugh all the more unexpected. Golden's story is one of perseverance and dedication, as he recounts the struggles he faced in his early career and the sacrifices he made to pursue his passion for talk radio.
Throughout the book, Golden emphasizes the humanity of Rush Limbaugh, which is often overlooked in the media's portrayal of him as a polarizing figure. Golden recounts numerous personal anecdotes that reveal the man behind the microphone, such as Limbaugh's love for golf and his fondness for sharing meals with his staff. Golden also highlights Limbaugh's generosity, both...

Brooke Chapman: This book will touch your heart and soul just as Rush Limbaugh himself did to all his fans who loved him and felt such a terrible loss when he passed. After listening to Rush devotedly for at least 30 years, I loved him as a brother. I had written President Trump ( as I’m sure others did) a number of times requesting he would honor Rush with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, long before Rush’s critical diagnosis. I could not have been prouder (yes… I cried) when President Trump honored him with the award before all of America that night. Rush certainly deserved the honor more than some recipients. Snerdley wrote of that night.
James Golden did an incredible job of taking the reader “Behind the Scenes” over the many years and tells how Rush as a dear friend and mentor, strongly influenced his life. I enjoyed Mr. Golden’s insight and a window into the emotional private moments he and his good friend Rush shared. It brought a great man bigger than life down to a more personal level. I got to know Rush better as a man. If you consider yourself a proud “Dittohead” you owe it to yourself to read this book. And if you have Dittoheads (Conservatives for those in Rio...

Pat GIllis: It doesn't make the loss of Rush any easier but it was a lovely way to take a moment to remember him as fondly as Mr. Golden clearly does. A great, touching read.,
