Jack&Pup 3-Pack of Premium Grade Roasted Meaty Beef Shin Bones for Dogs

NL: My dog loves to gnaw on bones but I've found that many brands shatter into sharp pieces that could injure him. I've tried this brand for rib bones and for knuckles and I think the ribs have held up better without bits breaking off. Just be prepared... these things smell horrid! The smell goes away once they start eating away the bits of meat that were left on it. But that first day... whew! I have a big doggo and his bones can last a while. I switch them out when they look worn down and he loses interest. I think they are perfect for larger dogs that can't keep their mouth off of things and need a distraction. Or they destroy those fake bones too easily.

Brook: These bones are very large! I didn’t realize they were 11” when I bought them, so was rather surprised at the large bag. But my German shepherd has loved chewing on one of these bones for the last two weeks. She walks around the house proudly with it and chews on it a few times a day. The only draw back to them is their size and weight. When my dog drops the bone out of her mouth, it thumps rather loudly on the floor and I was worried about it denting our wood floors. So the bone is now banned to the carpets and outside. But still very much worth the investment. These bones are the only ones my German shepherd hasn’t eaten in very short time. She’s an aggressive chewer. These bones will last a loooong time and will hold your dog’s interest for quite a while too. Highly recommend.

JAKJAK: The media could not be loaded.  First of all I want to say that with anything like this, supervise your dog. Bones can splinter or break into chunks. If you're in doubt, throw it out.

That said, my 4 year old female German Shepherd loves these bones! They give her hours of enjoyment. Sometimes she'll bring them to me to help her peel off some of the dried meat shreds and remnants on the bones but does a pretty good job on them herself. She's a careful chewer and will spit out chunks that break off but I still keep an eye on her. I've got a pile of the chewed bones building up in my yard. She likes to go revisit some of the older ones so I haven't thrown them away. The price is good for the enjoyment received. I can't attest to the flavor personally but Tess seems quite happy with it.

James Goss: My trainer recommended knuckle bones to me a long time ago as a good tool to keep your dog entertained. Since then I've been ordering large crates of them off Amazon because my dog absolutely loves them. This time around I didn't feel like buying as huge of a pack as I normally do so I decided to give these ones a go. I will say that when you open them they are packed full of flavor (your dog will make a mess for the first 10 min)– needless to say, my dog loved them. However, I would NEVER buy them again.
The biggest issue for me, and something that is an absolute deal breaker, is that my German shepherd is able to rip small chunks off of the bone itself. I have to watch him the entire time he is chewing on it to make sure he doesn't accidentally try to swallow any small fragments he snaps off of it. And because he constantly snaps pieces off, the bones only last me about a week a piece. As someone who purchases knuckle bones extremely regularly I know that this is absolutely not normal. My knuckle bones have NEVER broken into pieces like this brand does... and his bones usually can last him up to 3 months!
