Herman MermanHerman Merman: If you search for this kind of adapter, there will be dozens of different brands at higher prices that all do the same thing. I chose this one because the price was better than the others, and had decent reviews. I'm using it on a dell optiplex pc to add an extra monitor. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it works. Truly "plug and play". All I did was connect it to the pc and add a new monitor and it worked right away without the need of installing any drivers. I've Been using it for 2 months now without any issues.

Mross: Worked great. I had previous versions that required a driver? This one worked like a dream, plug and play? in a docking station at that.

Amazon Customer: A fantastic product. Easy to follow instructions. A site to download the drivers easily. Had this up and running in just a few minutes. A welcome change from all the similar difficult adapters out there.

NK: The device did enable a third monitor, however two of my three monitors are HP E221 monitors. One HP monitor is plugged into the device and isn't quite as sharp of an image as the other. This was not a problem on my windows pc which I changed from last week. I think the device just can't handle the same image output as the Mac. It isn't blurry just not as sharp.
The other issue was that I had to grant access to what Mac labels as screen recording. I contacted the manufacturer that assured me that the screen was not being recorded but due to the way Mac classifies it, it shows screen recording in the security section.
Overall not bad, I keep my calendar pulled up on that screen always so I don't use it exclusively to work, it is just on so I can see my calendar as I need which is several times during the day.
I would probably buy again if I needed a third monitor.

There is no xp support, no drivers on their website, will be sending back for a refund.
