Bob Adkins: This is my go-to adhesive. Some people are put off with the 12 hours to handle, 24 hours to 90% strength, but slow curing is what makes slow epoxy adhesives bond so great. I bought the 10 Oz tube, and it's breathtakingly expensive, and has gone up 33% since I last bought it. I was very put off when I stuck my thumbnail through the black tube and ended up losing 1/3 of it, so I bought a highly rated adhesive that comes in small plastic jars. It's way harder to use, being stringy it gets all over everything, and it stays rubbery for 3-4 days. So back to JB Weld! I'll just have to keep my nails trimmed.

michael f.: Used this on my old 72 Ford truck floor pan, floor was rusted and a little thin after blasting, also had a few pin holes but not bad enough to replace the floor. Added this to strengthen the floor and fill in pin holes.

Marcel: The tubes are certainly NOT easy to handle and prone to create a mess.
Packaging doesn't seem to ever be a concern for manufacturers.

DansDad: I bought to repair 6mm bolt fixing points ABS plastic carrying handle and mud-guard on a mobility scooter. The bolts secure a heavy gearbox, steel chassis, real axle, wheels and motor at least 15Kg. This took 2 attempts. The first failed as I tried to minimise the visual appearance of the repair and didnt use sufiffient thickness. The second attempt was a minimum of 2 mm thick and has held now for over 6 months of regular use. The repair is very visible from the underside. As with any epoxy type 'glue' it is easy to get it everywhere. I would strongly recommend gloves and glasses, and I'm someone very used to getting glues and paints on my hands. It's very black and even with acetone is hard to clean off body parts, the dining table, furniture and places other family members may not appreciate it sticking to. But this is a good thing. It's glue. We don't want it to come off stuff! JB Weld is more effective than plain epoxy adhesive but not as subtle. It sticks to things that epoxy can't. It sets harder than epoxy. In fact it sets harder than pretty much anything that I've ever squeezed out of tube! When something carries the same health warning 4 times and uses words like...

Hugh Macdonald: I love this stuff. Use it a lot. I like that it is a slow set which allows me to do a complicated repair and because it is slow, the results are very strong. Sticks to most everything (not polyethylene of course). I've used it to fix plastic items and metal items. With plastic I often embed metal pins or needle pieces in the plastic (after drilling tiny holes) to enhance the shear strength. This steel filled epoxy is really tough. It is easy to mix whether by weight or volume, both are 1:1. I did have it come a bit late but they informed me of that -- probably some supply chain issue.

Amazon Kunde: Habe damit von meinem Auto die Ansaugbrücke aus Kunststoff (PP oder ABS) abgedichtet. Härtet nach 24 Std gut durch. Habe damit einen Spalt von ca. 3x3 mm auf eine Länge von ca. 20 cm gefüllt. Nach dem Aushärten 2. Schicht dieses Produkts verstärkt mit Polyestermatte drüber. Bin mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden. Das Teil steht unter Druck und ist dicht.

Mark Wojcik: If you need a rigid permanent adhesive for anything tough, this is the stuff. It stinks like poisoned poison while it's wet, but it cures fast enough. Still, those fumes are poisonous, so use it outside or wear a mask, or both. Honestly, it's gonna stink up the house if you use it inside, so maybe try the garage or something.

JB Weld isn't bad to work with, as epoxies go. Keep it off your skin or anything you don't want to have epoxy permanently attached to. You don't have to mix the two parts perfectly, but get it as close as you can, and mix it until it's definitely all one color. You'll want a popsicle stick or something similar. Plan it out ahead of time, because you can't really stop halfway through.

JB Weld sticks well and stays stuck, but cleaning surfaces before you start still helps. Make sure they're dry, too. You can sand this after it dries, of course. It's very strong -- watch some Project Farm videos, if you want ideas about that -- and works on many materials. It doesn't tend to dry out in the tubes after you open it (assuming you close it up again properly), unlike some brands. This is the good stuff.
