Roadie: Nice looking unit and highly value the Compressor vs thermo electric ctooling technology. The big If is that the unit doesn't hold 33 bottles - longer or stubby wine bottles don't fit and one has to remove at least 1 or 2 shelves. I think the true capacity is max 20-24 bottles.

Leslie Johnstone: This fridge works well and looks great. It holds a steady temperature and I have not heard any of the sounds that some have commented on. The door handle is a bit tricky to mount as you have to fish the bolts through the door frame with rather poor access. I cursed the product design engineer a number of times.
There is a wine purchase deal on a card that comes with it. It does not appear to be redeemable in Canada which is a bit annoying.
Overall, this seems to be a quality product for a reasonable price.

RSinAZ: Bottom line: Looks good, reasonably quiet and doesn't take up too much space.

We got this wine refrigerator a few months ago for two reasons. We like our red wine cold and we wanted to free up space in our fridge. When we buy a case of wine, we just put the entire case into this wine refrigerator. Then if we've forgotten to put a bottle in the fridge, we always have a cold bottle ready to go.

The only space we really had for this wine refrigerator was in our breakfast area. We sit there every morning, talk and have coffee. It does make some noise when running but it isn't an annoying sound and it doesn't disrupt our conversations. It's no more than 3-4' (approx. 1 meter) from where we are sitting. It's footprint is about 18" deep x 13.5 wide" (14.7cm x 34.3cm).

It quickly cools the wine down (we have it set to the minimum temperature 41 degrees). I have noticed that it creeps up to 45 degrees on the display before the compressor turns on. It's probably a good thing though - better that it's on long enough to cool the wine down but not turning off and on constantly all day trying to keep the temperature precisely at 41 degrees.

Douglas B.: The door was not aligned with the top and no adjustments. I’ve returned it and bought a new one in the black, so if it is not aligned it will not look as bad.
It also says the bottom must be 2” off the ground, but the feet do not adjust that high.
Otherwise this seems like a good product.

Rochelle RochelleRochelle Rochelle: I figure I should add all the crucial info for the wood shelf design and how this translates to your actual storage capacity, and most importantly, to answer the questions of what type of bottles this thing stores well, and those it does not. Even the MFC won't provide these #'s so hopefully this helps you.

Top Shelf: 5 bottles, max height 3 3/16"+ (3 1/4" will barely fit but it causes friction, so I wouldn't recommend it). Fits longer bottles which is nice. The tallest ones go here, cab be up to 16 long"
Next 5 shelves: 7 bottles each, max height 3 3/16" exactly. If bottles are longer than standard, the every other bottle scheme will not work. Pinot generally was solid here, cab too. Some standard 4" Italian bottles were too tall for these shelves. I don't really know what the max length is on these, depends on the shape of the bottle.
Second from bottom: 5 bottles, max height 3 3/16" exactly. Fits longer bottles but only up to 12.5 long"
Bottom: 4-6 bottles, max height 4" exactly. Fits longer bottles up to 12.5" long

Wrenhaven: I bought this model because it was recommended by a couple different sites and it sounded like no one should expect incredible things from a 20-30 bottle wine storage unit that costs around $300. Only just arrived (I'll update a few months from now), but here are my first impressions about some specific issues I was concerned about:

1. Noise. Our apartment is a loft style, so I was worried to hear some reviews discussing how noisy their unit was. To be honest, I dont understand what the concern is about. True, it's a compressor unit (like any wine fridge that will actually keep your wines at the desired temperature), but I've had many mini-fridges that were much louder, and it's easy to forget it's even on. You can't hear it from the other side of the room--about 20 feet away.

2. Space. I got the larger model because I saw several complaints on different Ivation models about not being able to fill the cooler to capacity. Maybe it is a new model or a manufacturing flaw, but I discovered not all the shelves have the same clearance.
