Niki P.: It came impeccably packed and perfect condition. Let it sit for a day then plugged it in. Is actually very quiet in a studio apartment, fan only runs when cooling. Looks very sleek and modern. Picked it bc of good reviews and double panel, UV light protection doors. Fingers crossed for long term storage.

Tom: This I'd a great wine frig! It is in fact a refrigerator not a cooler. A lot of people complain about the sound, probably because they are used to a cooler. I find this to be almost as quiet as a cooler. With way better cooling capability. There is a very small amount of noise when the compressor kicks in but it is negligible. The frig is very stylish and holds a lot of wine and keeps it at temp. The interior light is a plus for style, looks cool! I would highly recommend this product. Great for the price as well. Cheers!

patty: Looks good but noisy. Glass is tinted so can’t really see what’s inside. Temp ranges from 45-50 within an hour. Smaller than I expected. Would return if I could but I can’t. Amazon won’t take back.

Vegas Cat Daddy: Added note - I bought a second one - so while I may have some complaints - for the price it runs well, quiet and well insulated. The wooden racks have very little give on them - you can hardly pull them out to see what the bottle is. Not happy with that. The light on the top is a joke - it lights the first row and that is about it. Not sure how you get a bottle into the bottom shelf - it's so oddly configured we gave up on it. The door handle is NOT a problem to attach as some wrote about - it took a minute and anyone who has worked with Ikea items will find this so so so simple. It looks good - the stainless front is nice. The temperature is accurate - be prepared it cycles up and down 5 degrees. So set it for 55 and it cools to 55 and lets it rise to 60 and then cycles down again. Quietly too. I've had much better refrigerators but I spent 900 yo 1000 so for 299 this seems like a fair deal.

Wrenhaven: I bought this model because it was recommended by a couple different sites and it sounded like no one should expect incredible things from a 20-30 bottle wine storage unit that costs around $300. Only just arrived (I'll update a few months from now), but here are my first impressions about some specific issues I was concerned about:

1. Noise. Our apartment is a loft style, so I was worried to hear some reviews discussing how noisy their unit was. To be honest, I dont understand what the concern is about. True, it's a compressor unit (like any wine fridge that will actually keep your wines at the desired temperature), but I've had many mini-fridges that were much louder, and it's easy to forget it's even on. You can't hear it from the other side of the room--about 20 feet away.

2. Space. I got the larger model because I saw several complaints on different Ivation models about not being able to fill the cooler to capacity. Maybe it is a new model or a manufacturing flaw, but I discovered not all the shelves have the same clearance. I assume this is so that fatter bottles can go in one shelf and thinner/longer bottles on another. I currently have 24 bottles in the...
