"iTouchless 16 Gallon Dual Compartment Stainless Steel Trash and Recycle Bin"

Dee: This Trash Can / Recycle Bin works as described, just as I had hoped. It is the perfect size for my kitchen in all ways. It was somewhat expensive but I hope it continues to function the way it does for a long time. I do like the look / design of this Trash Can / Recycle Bin which is not something that is usually said concerning something to hold garbage. After all of the other Trash Can / Recycle Bins I have had, this one makes me happy.

Rachel A.: The trash can looks great and works well. However, it dents easily and it’s a bit tricky to get trash bags in place. The individual bins inside are also a bit small and not easy to remove. For my needs, a full size trash can and separate recycling bin would have worked better.
This is a step can with no motion sensors.

Bryan: This is a wonderful trash can. It is slightly smaller than your standard kitchen bag size but it still works great. It came with a small dent in the side that I was easily able to press out from the inside but other than that I am happy with this product.

Amazon Customer: This trash can is great! it makes me more apt to recycle-- which is great for the environment! I find that I recycle so much more that i have this trash can versus when I just had a recycle bin in my garage.

I also find that I like the step open feature opposed to the motion sensor feature that alot of trash cans have these days- Dont have to worry about batteries burning out. And to top it all off the trash can is as aesthetic as it is functional. It is beautiful! it's stainless steel finish makes it look like one of the appliances! this is a must have.

The only thing I can say about this is that I live alone and I find it perfect for me. The size might be a little small for a larger family- but that is just an opinion on my part.

Amazon Customer: I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this one. I really wanted a dual can but was worried after reading reviews that said the bags were hard to get into the cans. I’ve ended up being very happy with my purchase. I’ve had the can three months now. It arrived in perfect condition—no dents. Maybe they improved the packaging since others complained. 13-gallon trash bags fit these bins. There is a hole to tuck the excess width at the top of the bag into and the bins then fit neatly inside with no bag showing. They aren’t too hard to remove unless I overfill the recycling and it’s too packed in there. I just have to remember not to be lazy, and take the trash out regularly! The dual can takes up less space that the two cans I had there previously. They are a bit smaller than what I had before and if you have a large household you’ll be taking the trash out a lot but for me it works very well. I was surprised at how many comments I got from friends and family about how great it looked and I even started a trend with other friends purchasing similar cans because they liked mine so much. I got a couple of magnets to put on the lids to identify trash v recycling and now...

Roy: Love this can, once you get used to putting the bags in and taking them out it goes fairly quickly looks great in my kitchen matches my appliances love the soft close lids. A little on the pricey side could be cheaper but all in all nice garbage can.

V. Willard: I was hesitant, but so far I'm loving this trash/recycling bin. My kid who has to take trash out more frequently due to smaller capacity is not. :) The can is as advertised, sturdy, easy to wipe clean and not overwhelming in size compared to other combined bins. We've had simple human cans over the last 10 years - two of them. They have a ten year warranty, and the peddles have broken on them both times, with no way to make a warranty claim since I don't have proof of purchase, so we won't be buying that brand again. The only complaint with this one is that there's no way to get the trash can out without touching the inside of the bag/liner, but that also means there's no gap for trash/dirt to fall into between the lip of the liner and the outer shell of the can itself. Hopefully this means the kids will not want to touch the inside of the trash and will remember to take it out before it's overflowing. Overall, just a really nice, simple and seemingly durable can.

David B.: The photo shows the liners with holes in them and says "Tuck & Hold keeps Heavy, Full Bag in Place". Mine arrived with 2 black bins with no holes in the them so changing the bags is difficult. It is made difficulty because as you put the liner back in with a new bag in it, the air being forced out of the stainless steel body by the bin liner going in pushes the empty bag sides up and the lid won't close. I actually returned a can like this for the same reason and bought this one. Otherwise it looks nice and works OK but changing the bags is a pain.

rondebodt: One of the primary reasons I liked the look of this product was the black (garbage) and blue (recycling) inner liners. Mine shipped with 2 black liners.

As far as functionality, it works as advertised. Easy to open with the foot pedal. Soft closing with replaceable piston works great. Easy to clean.
