Calvin: Ito En is a very well-known brand in Asia so I bought it here on Amazon, and the quality did not disappoint. The price is very reasonable too compared to the other sellers! The only thing is that the flavor is on the on the lite side for matcha, which for me means I have to use a bit more to get the desired taste.

J. StropkoJ. Stropko: This is our everyday matcha. It's the best one in this price range. Obviously there are higher grade ones but if you are going to make your matcha a matcha latte then Ito En Matcha is perfect.
We make ours with a Thai brand coconut milk, 1/2 spoon of honey per cup & 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

We use a 1/2 to 1 small teaspoon of matcha powder. Use a sieve to make sure the matcha doesn't have clumps in the matcha bowl prior to adding water (we use an ordinary cereal bowl as we don't have ad edicated matcha one.) Add the hot water, add a splash first, whisk until the matcha is a smooth thickish viscous liquid. Then add more water and whisk until you get a nice foam. Pour into your cup/glass. (you could drink it as is. It might be too strong = add more hot water. To but be honest for pure matcha drinking we use another brand. Ito En shines most as a latter with coconut milk.

Then whisk the warmed up coconut milk (that you warmed together with vanilla and honey) until that has a foam, too. Now you can gently pour this over your matcha in the cup/glass. Take a sip. Need to add more hot water? maybe less or more coconut milk next time? Enjoy.

strawberrykitten: I first found this matcha at Epcot Japan.. fell in love with it at first sip, and thankfully it was available here!! I have been buying it here ever since. Itoen is a great Japanese brand, well-known for their quality, so I know it's good stuff! I make almost a daily matcha latte and this specific one makes it so easy to make. The tiny little sweet matcha pellets melt smoothly into milk or water, hot or cold! You do have to adjust to taste as it is sweet, but it's easy to get used to serving your preferred intensity. I hope this never goes away as I want it forever!! ^-^

Danielle: I was already fan of this tea having first bought it in Japan when I was travelling and have repurchased it multiple times from a different website because I like the taste so much. When that was out of stock, I noticed this was the larger pack which not only was better value for money and it arrived so quick too!
