Kari: I like that this is unscented and not overpowering. I’m not sure how it performs for the itching aspect since I’ve only used it once, but this shampoo makes my golden retriever’s fur feel so soft and clean! I’ve never used a shampoo like this before where he’s felt so soft even days later.

I do wish it was a bigger bottle for the cost, or the cost would be lowered - especially for big dogs where you have to use a little more shampoo.

Joni: Every shampoo I’ve tried medicated, anti-itch, moisturizing, etc. my dogs would immediately start rolling and rubbing after their bath. Not with this one. They both felt great after their baths and ran around playing! Their coats are fluffy and shiny. No perfume smell, so they are happy with that too.

Robert Badgley: I have a Westie who has had some issues with allergies,which the breed is known for(see my review on this same companies' Paw Soother).
Her first shampoo with the product occurred just the other day and let me tell you her hair has NEVER been so soft after ANY bath in her life.And when I bathe her I always use hypoallergenic shampoo bought usually at Pet Smart.If this product makes her coat that smooth, then it's a sure bet her skin is also being pampered in the same way.As time progresses I will update this to let you know how it's going.
The one criticism I must say to you is this:value for money is about2-3 out of 5 or even less depending on how you look at it.This is only a small 12 oz.bottle and if used regularly will go VERY quickly.I intend to use it every other wash to extend its life.That's why the 4 stars instead of five.
For now I would recommend this product .

Mellie: I purchased this shampoo as it's all natural to try out on my parents dog who suffers from allergies and is often scratching himself due to environmental irritants. I was impressed with the delivery as I ordered this product with Prime and got it the next day as promised even during the snowstorm in Ontario. I just used this product and it worked like a charm. My parents dog is much more happier, he is no longer scratching himself, his skin calmed down and I don't see him suffering anymore. I was grateful for getting this shampoo right away to use. This product also smells nice, not overpowering but a hint of lavender and eucalyptus, a nice clean smell.

Candace: We have a Boston Terrier with food allergies. She is constantly breaking out in itchy, scratchy hives. Even when we're careful. This shampoo has helped SO MUCH. Bathing her twice a week has stopped the scratching-until-she-bleeds significantly. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is great. And it lathers and rinses really easily. I use just a coin shaped amount and then scrub her all over with a loofah, rinse, and repeat one more time. She is so soft and no more red itchy bumps, no bleeding scabs. No chewing her paws.

We also added some Salmon to her diet. That, in combination with this shampoo, has made things even better! She's a totally different dog.

I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone with a dog that has skin issues, and also look into Natural Balance "Limited Ingredient Diet" dog food in Salmon and Sweet Potato.

After 10 years of struggling to find something that works, this shampoo is a godsend!
