I had been using nipple creams/butters while breastfeeding for the past few days and I was cracked and bleeding to the point of considering switching exclusively to formula bc nothing was working. These came in yesterday and have been a complete game changer. I’m just a few days things have really turned a corner and these are continuing to allow me to breast feed. If you’re on the fence, JUST DO IT! Seems a little gimicky but definitely is not.

Alexis Castle: These cups are amazing! I had a cracked nipple week two of breastfeeding. It was so painful to nurse that I almost quit. I purchased these and have been using them everyday since. They healed my nipples instantly. After two days of using, my nipple pain was completely gone and I felt like I could continue breastfeeding. The nipple cover also keeps in a tiny bit of milk (breast pad still needed for leaking), but I think that helped in the healing process. You can also put them in the fridge to cool which is nice after nursing.

Don’t hesitate! Buy them. So worth it for being pain free!

Dasom Lee: Nipple savior! I was having a hard time with breastfeeding with my first child and my nipple had a big crack within the first two days. It was too painful for me to put on a bra or a nipple shield over it. A friend recommended that I try these and, honestly, these are so much better than using nipple cream! My crack healed within a day and the coolness feels so good after pumping/feeding. It's also super easy to clean and maintain!

Amazon Customer: I had nipple soreness well after the first two weeks of nursing and bought these out of desperation after hearing great things. Unfortunately they were painful to wear. I couldn’t figure out why until I learned from a lactation consultant that my issue was vasospasm. She recommended I wear wool breast pads for warmth. Most likely these were painful for me because they were cold on my nipples. Hopefully this review will help anyone else who doesn’t find this product helpful for them and can’t figure out why.

MMP: I suffered through months of fissures nipples with my daughter, so after the birth of my next baby, when I was already bruised and in a ton of pain by day 2 of breastfeeding I was willing to try anything new. I’d already tried hydra gel pads, nipple cream, and steroid cream with some healing but ongoing trauma. So I splurged on the silverettes. And I have no idea how these things work, and it seems so gimmicky to just put them on the breast and that’s it, but I’m now a believer. In about 2-3d, I could no longer see bruising, and by a week of breastfeeding no more pain. I guess it could’ve been the baby getting better at nursing, but honestly I think these little things actually made a difference. Hope my experience helps some other Mama feel better!

Unfortunately, it hasn't gone as smoothly as it had when I breastfed my daughter who is now 2 years old.I had cracked and bleeding nipples when I first started breastfeeding with her, so this time, I thought I would have it down, and bought nipple cream to use after each feed, and knew exactly how to have him latch correctly, remembering the tips from when I worked with a lactation consultant with my daughter initially.So first off, initially he would not even wake to feed and therefore I had to pump every three hours and use a bottle to feed him almost while he was sleeping. Then he grew out of that to being awake enough to breastfeed, but had latch issues as no matter what I did to have him open his mouth wide enough and get my entire nipple in his mouth. he would always use his arm and push my breast while he was eating, which caused my nipple to constantly slide out of his mouth, so his mouth would end up around the base of my nipple.
