William Stevens: I've never grown a beard; however, I decided to try it this past month. Since I've never had a beard, I didn't know the first thing about it, but I did notice it was very brittle. Enter this product... since I use this daily, my beard doesn't flake apart like it was. It's still very wiry and not soft; I'm unsure if that's "my beard" or if a different product would do a better job softening it.
