V-RonnicaV-Ronnica: The shelving is holding up. I'm impressed with the appearance. The boards aren't showing any flexing at the moment. Any statements after deal with the type of weight I've placed this unit under. Now the leveling feet. I made shims out of washers in case the threads on the leveling feet fail or strip out. My concern is whether I'm able to purchase more boards if one should break. (Waiting for an answer) The Ironck is an economical alternative to the Kallax unit. The prices of the Kallax units have been driven up due to it's large demand by owners of large record collections. (At one time the Kallax was removed from the Ikea roster but returned due to popular demand) I still have many boxes to unpack and I'm going to need two more units. My biggest concern is the leveling legs which I think should be twice the diameter used. An alternative would be factory supplied shims. (See my remedy in the pics. Washers I cut and slipped around the levelers) Something else, level the shelf first, determine how many washers you will need and unscrew/remove the leveling legs and place the washers on and you won't have to cut like I did. (My approach was after I had loaded the shelves). Normal use...

Robert OlsonRobert Olson: The media could not be loaded.  To bad it’s made in China. This is a well constructed shelving unit. Fairly easy directions but easy to figure out almost without them. From the unboxing to completing the assembly it to approximately 2.5 hours to have it installed to the wall.
Most important (don’t tighten the screws on the cross braces or the shelving until you have all the screws in the shelving, it makes it easier to get the screws in. Then tighten the top and bottom 2 shelves & stand it up and tighten the rest of them & then tighten the cross braces on the back. This will make your installation so much easier.

Skylar Briggs: We needed a replacement for a run down cabinet we had. Ordered this and it fits perfectly. It took 2 of us around 45 to 50 minutes to fully assemble and move. Instructions could be easier to read, but it still wasn't hard.

Marie33klMarie33kl: This bookshelf is huge, holds a ton of items and weight, looks modern but classic at the same time, goes with a ton of spaces and colors, and has feet that can adjust at the bottom, if your floor isn't perfectly level (ours wasn't). Overall, we're totally pleased! The install is no good with one person, but fine with two, just make sure you double-check your screw sizes and put the right ones into the right holes. Our screws came mixed in the package (certain sizes sealed into the wrong sections) and we had to redo some things because of that.

Alexander Morrill: Compared with similar products, this felt just a little under-engineered. There are only two sets of stabilizing crossbars and the vertical posts were a little thinner than I've seen on other bookshelves. When sitting empty, it felt a little rickety. Not sure if this really matters because I was able to fill it with heavy books and it now feels stable.

I will say that the shelves, despite obviously being "fake" wood, are very good looking-- from a distance, they look like real pieces of weathered/slightly spalted wood with a nice color and texture.
