Amazon Customer: Love this product - quality is excellent, very easy to change the pee pads & what I love most about it is the putter edges of the pee pad are covered, as I have a puppy who would shred it or pull it out of other holders and run around with it in her mouth as a come chase & catch me game ... lol. Yes it sounds funny, but in the moment was very frustrating. I actually have 2 of these, one for my bedroom and one on the main level of the house. This size was beyond perfect for my tiny puppy who’s going to grow to be 6 lbs. There’s plenty of room, I like the fact she’s able to use the pee pads multiple times (as her pee spots are quite small) before I have to change them. Extremely easy to clean.

Amazon Customer: It works well. Just smaller than I was expecting. I had a 5 lbs male puppy I got it for and would have liked it a bit bigger. Not sure is the puppy had been female if that would have made a difference. One he peed on it once you would have to change the pad or he would have been stepping in it. It was smaller than the pads so the pads hung out the sides which made him miss slightly sometimes.

Lucky girl: Unfortunately I didn’t read well enough the first time I ordered this. Ordered the regular thinking I could put it horizontally in my dogs 36” crate. Nope. It was a few inches too wide so it had to go length wise and left her only a small amount of room in the crate to lay down. Went back and ordered the small and it fits perfectly horizontally in the back. However, my dog just refuses to use this in the crate and would rather shred the pee pads instead. She’s also chewed off all 4 of the handles that lock the pads into place. Great item, just doesn’t work for my dog.

Amazon Customer: It works well with the pads, but wished it was a few inches bigger, my toy Yorkie/Shiatsu, 6 pounds is afraid because not a lot of area to move around in, hopefully she will learn to like it, the area I made her before was bigger!

Lucia: This is the smallest training pad holder that I can find, good size for my teacup Chihuahua puppy. Just not easy to find the same size pad to match it from anywhere(eg. Pet stores, Walmart etc.) except online...Well I bought some bigger size pads from Petsmart which are cheaper but also thinner than most of other products, then the problem just comes: the clips on both sides to hold the upper layer of the colder to the lower layer barely catch the lower layer (you are supposed to hear a "click" but you can't) because the pad is too big to the holder and the center part of the pad is too thick compare to the edge of it. Well it doesn't give me too much trouble because my dog never plays on it so the pad still stays just not fixed as expected.
Overall it's a good product, I like it.

Proper Bostonian: I really love this product, especially because it is pink! The label that comes on it peeled off without leaving an annoying residue, and I put a pad on it for my 5 lbs. dog for her to use right away. No fear if you don't use the 'special size' training pads for this particular pad holder-any size will work, just fold it under. The two side snaps work very well and hold the pad in place.

Overall, a great purchase! I think this would work for a dog 5-15 lbs. While it is 'small,' it's not tiny. I would recommend!

*Update: I've had this for about a year now, and it works great! It holds the piddle pad in place really well and the pink color is so cute!

Update: I just ordered this in the white/gray (more than a year later) and it's about $10 cheaper than the pink-it must be just because of the color difference. I have both, and they are the exact same size, etc. Only the color is different. Just the price differs.

Pads we use: 22 x 22

We own three dogs, two of which are younger than three years old. I trained our second youngest to use his wee wee pads two days after bringing him home (when he was only three months old) and he uses them flawlessly. We took our youngest dog in at the age of 10 months, however, and she wasn't pad trained very well. Everytime she saw our older dog use his wee wee pad she'd follow suit but almost always missed. We tried to run out with her in the mornings and evenings to ensure we wouldn't get stuck wiping tiles and floors but sometimes we couldn't avoid the mess and I was becoming increasingly frustrated. She knew she could use the pad - but she just couldn't get it in the middle! We tried using two pads, changing its position, its location, and spraying the middle of the pad with liquid training products, but nothing worked.

Convinced that there had to be a way to get her to wee in the middle of the pad, I searched and found that people recommended using a tray the most, so I searched through Amazon and found this one here. It was slightly cheaper than most trays I'd found, it was a...
