I purchased this backpack for when we take our Chihuahua places. I liked that it had several vents for breathability. I like that it pops out in the back to provide a little extra space and a “run”when needed. It does have a softer bottom, but I always put in a blanket for extra durability and comfort for my dog since when they stand up in the backpack, your animal may feel a little unstable due to the flexible bottom. But it does come with a piece of thicker padded cardboard material to provide some sturdiness. It took a little bit for my dog to get used to it but once she was in there, she settled right down and enjoys being able to look around while I carry her into stores and places on my back. I also like the fact that she is all enclosed so nobody is reaching out, trying to touch her since she has a shy dog.

We have a two month old kitten. Not only does every side of this backpack zip/unzip for folding/storage but the expandable feature is functional without adding any bulk to the bag. The zippers each have clips so a determined kitten can't unzip them from inside. It has a ton of little features that make it super high quality, if it ever breaks I'll buy it again. Our kitten is also obsessed with it and loves to use it as a napping spot or play tube and is happy to be carried around in it as well.

I took a 8 week old kitten over 1500 miles in this last week. We stayed in hotels, went shopping and ate at restaurants. Most people didn’t even realize he was in the bag. It expands and will fit an extra small litter box in that part. I put the litter box in when we were in the truck or at night in the hotel. This was perfect for a long trip with a small cat.

My cat, Marble, and I LOVE this backpack! I am finally able to bring her on hikes with me! The pocket fits her collapsible bowl and leash perfectly, and the water bottle pocket is made to fit a standard plastic water bottle. We love the expandable mesh that unzips in the back. It gives Marble more room to stretch out when we reach stopping points. The square shape the bag has ensures Marble has enough room to switch up positions while riding along in the backpack. I am fond of the backpack straps. The two straps that horizontally go across the wearers body, one in the chest area and the other in the abdomen area, are especially helpful distributing her weight properly across my shoulders. The mesh around the backpack is durable enough for a cat with claws to scratch and claw at it all day. However, the expandable mesh isn't the same material, and it weaker. We haven't experienced any issues with this, but it is noteworthy.
Overall, I highly recommend this backpack. It is sturdy, roomie, comfortable, and perfect for traveling with your feline friend.

My cat actually voluntarily went in the bag and went to sleep. That’s surprising since my cat is very stubborn when it comes to cages, kennels, etc. Overall the bag seems very sturdy and holds my heavy pet (15 lbs and about 35 in. long) I think the purchase was worth it.

Used a few weeks to acclimate my 4.2kg 1 yr old cat to this new item. She now sleeps in it and we use it to carry her around the garden and as a tunnel to play in (expands and opens in two different ways). There's a handy short leash to clip a collar on to. She has to squish a bit to lie down but she sits in it perfectly fine. The backpack isn't going to stand straight unless you lean forward a bit so the cat may be a little unbalanced.
Material seems of good quality and the zips don't seem cheaply made. It can fold down to be stored away. There's a removable hard bottom that's probably not washable but I can wipe it down at least. The best parts are the waist and hip clips to keep it close to the body.
Love it so far. Hope we can take the cat out to the park soon.
Edit: Mesh to look out of is too low for my cat to see out of. She cannot lie down comfortably in the backpack so she has to sit. But then her head is too high and she has to bend down to look out. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be using this much besides transporting her in the car.
