Alice: The metal quality is pretty decent compared to some of the others I've had. It's long and the gaps are thin enough to where it scoops out everything. It's also sturdy considering the past scoopers I've used bent when trying to scoop through heavy duty little like clay.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I didn't expect much but this is a great litter scoop! I never thought there was much difference to litter scoops other than if they were plastic or metal. After over ten years I finally thought I would upgrade my cheap metal scoops for something nicer and more ergonomic so I ordered two of these. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these worked. The base slots are vertical so my fine grain litter falls right through it and only leaves what needs to be removed. My old scoops and most I normally see have a flat base with just slots in it so a lot of litter sits on the scoop and has to be shaken off. It even grabs the crumbles that were so hard to get before! They are super sturdy and comfortable to hold. I use a fine litter from Arm and Hammer so I don't know how well this would work for other more coarse clay or wood litters but for me it's made cleaning the litter box so much quicker, cleaner, and easier.

Bechi: iPrimio reached out to me about my purchase and offered to "make things right". A very stand-up offer, but as my scoop is pretty gross and well used at this point, not necessary. No cracks or failures yet despite being plastic. Just hoping extra care is taken with descriptions going forward, especially where multiple options are provided under one listing. This happens a lot on Amazon; the listing title doesn't always match the option selected, making the accuracy of the description provided very important to avoid disappointment.

Per the description, I was led to believe I was ordering an aluminum scoop with a rubber-coated, plastic handle. The entire scoop is plastic. One star for that. The scoop works well however, sifts easily, and has not yet broken, so an additional star for that. Apparently "color" means "material" in this case, but I appear to not be fluent in "iPrimio".

VAR: I recently relocated with my 2 cats to a new home and decided to replace their litter gear with a stainless steel litter box and this scoop. I was a little skeptical about the scoop considering it's price, but so far it has been worth it. I am using the same brand of litter and find that the soiled material does not stick to this scoop like the plastic and metals versions that I have used in the past. I like that it's a larger size, so it reduces the amount of time and scoops to thoroughly clean the box. I am glad that I made the purchase.
