Greasygirlgoneclean: I have my kids scooping the cat litter. It’s just part of their chores. But when they were using a plastic scooper, they had a hard time digging through the heavy litter and actually getting all the kitty poop. This thing is sturdy, pushes through the heavy kitty litter, like no big deal, and picks up all the poop! And the slots aren’t too big. I was kind of worried that stuff might not actually get picked up properly. But they are perfectly proportioned. A great purchase highly recommend it!

Ms. A. G. Polden: This scoop is so easy to use. Although I feared that small pieces of litter-clumps would fall through the bars, they didn't, and it is amazing how small the pieces are that will be held. Also the litter really seldom sticks to the scoop, and if it does, all you need to do is draw it through the litter and it cleans off. The hanger is also very useful.

Eva: While I really like the design and it works very well with my Catit litter, but I find it a little hard to use, (I am 5'2" just FYI) If you are a small sized person, I would actually put this to the consideration since we pretty much use this shovel daily. However it does work way better than my little lock shovel. Overall I am not regretting this product, but would love it comes as a smaller size.

NMGal: Me! This is probably the very best litter scoop I've ever owned. Recently changed litter and needed one that would work with extremely fine litter. This fits the bill. It's rather heavy (duh..it's metal) but it certainly does the job and I can't see it breaking anytime. The non-stick finish is just that--non-stick. Would definitly recommend purchasing this guy!

Gwen Larouche: Previously I only ever used the plastic scoops that came bundled with the cheap litter boxes, but after a number of them just snapped I bought one deliberately. This is nice and heavy duty, bought a second one for the upstairs litter box.

Glenda H.: heavier than the plastic I had, but well balanced and easy to hold. easy to use, does not function like it is heavy and seems to go under the turd better instead of stabbing into it. handle fits my palm and doesn't slip. the metal scoop is like a real tool and holds alot -bowl has depth and nothing fell out. my favorite feature is the close-set tines that catch all those little crumblies. it will keep the litterbox cleaner longer and smelling better longer. I have severe arthritis and do a better job now with fewer passes, no more chasing the little crumblies around with a plastic spoon! more expensive, but just bought one scoop for both boxes. did not use hanger that it came with. non-stick finish rinses cleanly under hot water. would buy again, would give as a gift. worth it!

GrowBug: I purchased this long handled scoop 4 years ago because I needed a sturdy scoop that wouldn't twist and break. This one gets used several times a day and it's still as strong and usable as when it was new. I have one cat who I would swear urinates concrete hardener. This scoop works great to scrape as well as sift and takes care of the concrete messes. The handle is actually comfortable which is something I didn't care about initially, but it's much easier to use than another brand's metal scoop that I bought at the same time. That other scoop broke 2 years later. I was concerned the length of this scoop would be awkward but it isn't and the scoop is really great for what it is.

This scoop is SOLID!! It is heavy compared to plastic scoops but not terribly so. The handle remains stable with no flex during use, and it picks up a nice amount of litter. If you have cats, try this scoop- you will be very pleased.
