MS: After 6 months the wifi dropped the connection nothing changed and the router is only 10ft from the doorbell 3. I have other ring devices up to 100ft away working fine.
After looking online this seems to be a very common problem.

Erika: I hate this Ring doorbell. It does not ring in the house and there is a long delay when motion is censored. We have installed, uninstalled, installed, reviewed Ring instructions. Follow You tube instructions, and we cannot get the doorbell to ring in the house. The door bell rings without Ring installed. We get the alerts on our phones, etc, but the doorbell does not ring in the house. Also the delay is too long from the time someone comes onto the porch and the time I am notified.
Update: After reading my review, Aaron from Ring reached out to me. He made several attempts to troubleshoot the device over the phone. The wind would blow and we would get notification that someone was at the door, but if a person was at the door ,we did not receive notification. We were advised to purchase a chime to substitute as a doorbell because the doorbell was not ringing inside the house. We purchased a Chime but the same problems persisted. Aaron was kind enough to send out a new Ring doorbell. After considering the device might be faulty. Once we installed it, everything worked perfectly.
